So welcome to part three of this course. So this course will be about the confidence in your goals, the confidence that you can have in a new skill, and how you can have the confidence to increase the quality of your life. So let's start here with your vision and your purpose. If you want to become more confident when you're setting goals, what is really important is that you have to define your goals precisely and positively. Now, you may say, Alan, but I don't really know what I want. I would like you to find the direction and then try to make as precise as you can quite precise, because there are people who say, I want to make more money.
And then we say, yeah, is that your goal? And the person says, Yes, I don't want to make to make more money, say, Okay, wait a second. Then I take a $1 bill, and I give it to them say, Hey, here's why $1 bill, and the President said, Okay, thanks. They Oh, you're rich, you go. You said that you wanted to make more money. So I do.
Give you a give you a one durable No, no one, I want you to make more. Okay, how much do you want to make? Okay, I want to make $10,000. Oh, we are getting here. It's more specific. It's more precise.
So the more precise, the better it will be. And I will explain later why. Also, I would like you to write in the positive sense, because most people who say, Alan, I don't want to be broke, I don't want to be unhealthy. I don't want to smoke. And the thing is that our brain cannot see the difference between something that is positive and negative. So if I say, I don't want to smoke our brain with the I won't smoke.
Of for example, I don't want to eat chocolate. You brainy say I want chocolate. So our brain cannot see the negative. So if you focus on you don't want to be unhealthy. You will focus on unhealthy and this is what you will attract to your life. So be really careful here.
You have to be positive. Keep your eyes on what you want. And let me explain why. And this is key here. Okay, so let's say that this is you. I know I'm still terrible at drawing, I tried to do my best, but this is what happens.
Okay? So this is you hear, and these are your goals. So your goals here are precise and positive. And what will happen here is that you will start focusing on them everyday, I would like you to think about your goals. And what will happen here. Remember, the first lecture that we saw in this course was about this filter, here are a 's.
And now that you are focusing on your goals, your filter will allow information to pass. So again, here, it's everything that happens in the world. Here is the filter that prevents and that gives you only a certain amount of information. According to what is important to you. And if you define your goals, you focus on them every day, your filter will allow information to pass. And the information will be opportunities will show you how to reach your goals.
Maybe there will be some help and some answers. Because what most people do wrong when they set goals is that they say, Oh, this is what I want to do, but I don't know how to do it, so I cannot do it. But what is magical and what works all the time is that you think about what you want, and then you find the how you don't start with how you will get your goal because maybe the How does not exist yet. It's something that is really crazy that you think about your goal all the time you try to find an action plan. And then sometimes there is someone that sits next sits next to you on the bus and that is the perfect business partner. Maybe you will have a Facebook ad that will give you the solution.
Maybe a friend will call you and give an answer or some help so that you can reach your goals. It's the law of attraction if you want. If you focus on it regularly, you will allow the filter here to give you the information that you need. But if you have watched the course and you have taken some notes, that's amazing. So then you understand here, what happens.
So keep your eyes every day. I would like you in the morning to read your goals. If you can illustrate that with pictures, that's even better. You do that in the morning and in the evening. You focus your focus you focus on your goals, you imagine that you have already accomplished them, you make it as real as possible. And as you will be doing that you will start noticing things around that will be awesome.
Opportunities that will appear you will find solutions you will start thinking about how, because if you are everyday thinking about your goals, your brain will start finding the how it can happen. But it starts first with defining what you want, and then the How will appear. And then you will be able to find how but you should always take take action, you set your goals, and then you take the first actions. But what I want to show you here is that with a vision, you must focus on what you want, and be precise, so that you can you can start having opportunities, start having answers and help to reach your goals. That's how you can become confident. People who are not confident with the goals is what they do is that they will focus on the things that they don't want and then they will attract the things that they don't want.
I don't want to be unhealthy. And then they will have health problems because they will attract the will start focusing here with the filters on being unhealthy. Don't want to be broke. If it's the goals, the filter will only let the information pass according to broke to being broke. So you start seeing broke people, you will always say, Oh, I'm broke because of that, and you will be in this negative pattern all the time. So it's really important, precise and positive.
Number two, why do you want it? When you set a goal, you must always add the motivation. It's the why. And to destroy that. Let me ask you a question. Imagine that you could save your husband, your wife, your your children, someone that you really love.
What would you be willing to do? I think it would be really amazing things. The motivation will be there. If you have to save your lover or someone that you really care about. You will be motivated. And there are people who say i don't i don't have motivation through the day.
It's because you don't know why. You want it? So every action that you take every goal that you set, you must ask yourself this question, why do you want it, and then you write a paragraph of that. And every morning when you read your goals that are precise and positive, I would like you to really feel this emotion that you feel you. Because if you are willing to do anything to people that you love, you must be able to motivate yourself, motivate yourself to take action, to reach your goals, despite the fear. So it's really important here.
And you can also add a paragraph on the benefits that it will add to your life. That's how you will become unstoppable. You know what you want. You know why you want it. And then you start taking action. I will show you later how to take action.
But for now, I really want you to do this part here to define what you want. And then to add the motivation. Now, there are some people who say, Alan, I don't know precisely what I won't, I don't really know, try to write the best vision that you have right now. Maybe no, you know, in a few weeks, your vision will change, what you want will be different. But you must write as precise as you can, and then go follow this direction, and then see what happens and then redefine later. And every time you put it precisely and positively the best that you can, and then it adapts it changes.
The vision is here to change, the vision will adapt. The goal may adapt may change, but you must have this vision that is clear at that moment in time with the best information that you have.
