Hi, in this video, we're going to look at how you can manage your archive lists and cards. So previously, we have had look at the function to archive cards and lists to remove them from view. remove them from your board. This is one way to reduce clutter. It also is one way to just remove things that is no longer relevant. But there are different from the Delete function in Trello.
So when you archive cards and list, you have the ability to bring them back. So to do that, you can go to your menu settings right here. Click on more. Select archived items. And here you can see the list of my archive cards. I can revive them, so to speak and bring them back to the board by clicking here.
And there you go. It goes back to my doing list. I even had a test card right here, which I first tried out before recording this video. So let's see. There you go. It remembers where you previously had the card basically.
You could completely remove cards by clicking Delete. So a warning will pop up. So any actions will remove this and you'll never be able to see this ever again. There is no undo. So be very careful with that. But otherwise you can archive most of the things that you don't no longer require As a standard practice, I use archives all the time.
So far I haven't resurrected or bring back to life, an archive board or an archive list or archive card. But in the rare occasion when I need to, it's good to know that fella has a function to revive that old archive item. So do not fret, my friends. Your cards are safe in the afterlife.
