All right, In this video, we'll look at how we can create and manage teams in Trello. So there's a few ways to do this. If you go to your top left hand corner, and click on personal, you'll see an option to create a team right here. Alternatively, you can also go to the homepage by clicking on the Home icon. And here you have an option to also create a T. So let's create a team. You can start by giving it a name.
This could be whatever you want it to be. I'm just going to put in I'm just going to put it as the Avengers employee in the description. If not just click here to create. And just like that you'll be sent to the team settings. You can edit your team profile, you can change the name of the team again, the short name is the unique name in fellows database. I don't find that much use for it, just leave it as it is, you can put on your website and also edit or at your description so that when team members join, they can have a glance at what this Trello board and Trello team is all about.
So that when new members join, they can have a glance at what this fellow team is all about. Next, you want to look at the settings. And make sure that you have team visibility checked. And let it be set to private. Because if you set it to public similar to the board, as it says in the description here, it will be picked up by even Google or any other search engines. So most of the time, people put it to private by default.
The only time you want a board or team to be public is you're doing something that's very marketing driven. For example, some companies have shown their roadmap using Trello. So software development companies might use this and set it up the public so that they can showcase what they're working on currently and It's also to show that you know, as a community, we are hearing you we the software developers are working on certain features and fixes that has been highlighted. And here's the sequence of events or the priority that we're working on. So it's a nice way to communicate to the public. So let's have a look on the next item, which is how do we then create boards
