We've come a long way together, if you have done the exercises and actually practice your panel presentation on video, to the point where you like it, you're going to be in great shape to have absolute confidence in you. If you're now happy with it, it's going to be good. I do want to leave you with that one last special tip, that secret ingredient that can make the difference sometimes. And here it is. Have fun. When you look at the best panelist at major trade associations, conferences, even in your own organization, the people who sparkle it's not just what they say.
It's that they're exuding the sense that they're having fun with this. There's a certain joy there's no place in the world they'd rather be. Then with their fellow panelists, their their fellow experts talking about this subject. Part of it is just a smile on the face when it's appropriate. Part of it is just the energy and the excitement they bring It. This isn't just drudgery.
Let's face it, a lot of people have awful jobs and they're digging ditches somewhere. And you get to be on a panel talking about ideas. This is exciting. This is fun. So, anything you can do, to demonstrate that you're having fun to show your passion in a way that's authentic and real, not just rah, rah, cheer, cheer, but in an authentic way, it's going to be contagious. And it's going to increase the odds that people focus on you listen to you.
Focus on your message, remember your message and come away with a positive impression of you. Good luck on all your panel discussions.
