That's it. If you follow the tips I've suggested in this course, you are going to spend less time on your presentations and get far better results because you're going to deliver a more interesting, memorable speech at a fraction of the time in preparation. So again, in summary, you got to start off by really figuring out what's your goal, what are you trying to accomplish with this speech, then come up with the five messages that are most likely to get people to do what you want that are important to you interesting to you and to the audience. Then you got to come up with an example a case study a story for each message point, put it down on a single sheet of paper. If you're going to use PowerPoint, fine. Use an image, not words that you're projecting.
If you have a whole lot of other text file, put in a document, put in a PowerPoint, make it 100 pages, I don't care. Don't project it during your speech, email it to people in advance handed out afterwards. Finally, practice your speech on video until you like it. If you do that, you're going to drastically shorten the amount of time that you and your staff and your colleagues spend futzing with scripts and PowerPoints and you're gonna get far better results. Good luck in all your presentations. I'm TJ Walker.
