Now a moment about me because as you may have noticed, I didn't spend really any time talking to you giving you my full bio at the beginning. that's by design. I think most people start off their speeches, their courses, their presentations in a boring way. Let me tell you about me so I can feel important and so I won't be insecure by thinking you think I'm not qualified to be here. It's defensive. And it's frankly, boring.

So what I do in every speech in real life, what I tried to do in this course is instantly give you value, instantly give you information tips that would help your life your speaking your presentation skills. Ideally, I hope to enough helped you enough that you got to the point where you even cared about me. So I as I mentioned to you, it did give you a few tips. have been teaching people how to speak effectively, ever since I was in college way back in 1984. And I conduct public speaking workshops, media training seminars, one on one small groups, large groups and keynote speeches on that subject all over the world. As of the time of me recording this, I've trained in 30 countries and I've worked with people from every continent.

And that's where I got this expertise. Now, how did I get this? I wasn't born a natural speaker. I was very shy as a kid. I said basically nothing. And then one day, I was in sixth grade about to graduate, my teacher comes up to me and says, TJ, I'll make a deal with you.

I'm in charge of the graduation ceremonies. For our elementary school, I got to find some kid to give the welcoming speech. Right now you got really good grades and everything but you have a very average a C grade, just plain vanilla. For handwriting, I'll give you an A I'll give you the top grade for handwriting. If you just give the welcoming speech to parents, teachers and students can I was a shy kid. I never said anything to anyone.

But I thought it doesn't seem that hard. It'd be nice to have an A I like getting good grades said sure. So I stood up, half read the speech. It wasn't anything good at all, but I got through it got through the day. And you know what, I got that agan handwriting. And I learned at a very early age at age 12.

If you're just willing to stand up and speak, things will happen to you. And I've been speaking ever since now since then. I've done more than 100 courses on public speaking and media training. Hear for you to be and most of them have their best elements already in this course for you so you don't have to buy all the others shouldn't say that my accountant doesn't like it when I say that I like to speak. More than 100 talk show appearances in 24 hours, so I'm not somebody with any innate skills here, but I am someone who's focused and devoted my life to helping people speak more effectively.
