You are never truly prepared for a PowerPoint presentation unless you are prepared to give your presentation without the PowerPoint bolds, burnout, computers malfunction, electricity goes away. You still got to present your ideas. And that's why it's critical for you to realize you're not actually giving a PowerPoint presentation, any more than I'm giving in electricity presentation right now I'm using electricity. I'm using lights, but this isn't a light presentation. So you've got to realize at some point, Accidents will happen. I've seen it happen to Steve Jobs when he was alive.
I've seen it happen to Bill Gates when they're in the middle of a PowerPoint presentation. And all of a sudden the screen goes blank. Something now functions. You don't want to be one of these people who say oh no, I can't get my presentation. I'm really sorry. You need to just continue talking.
And that's why I recommend having on a single sheet of paper. The notes so you can cover everything you want to say in that presentation. Without the slides. You are never prepared. You're never truly prepared to give a PowerPoint presentation unless you're ready to get it. Without the PowerPoint.
You have to simply be able to explain your ideas with words, examples, case studies and stories.
