Analyst relations is an important form of influence marketing. Most companies are keen to talk to analysts about their products, services and corporate strategies. The thinking being that these relationships will lead to some sort of public endorsement from these incredibly influential third parties. While you might be tempted to just deliver your corporate presentation to analysts remember that these are people whose job it is to know about your industry. So they'll be interested in your opinions, trends you're noticing, and especially any data you might have. They'll also want to understand who your competitors are so that they can categorize your business correctly.
