The next exercise is something that you can choose. I will ask you to make sure positive reinforcements loudly but you get to choose. Do you want to do it while standing in the power position? Or do you want to tie this to the mirror? It's up to you. I want you to say things like, I have strong willpower and I'm confident I will reach my goals.
I will get the job. I'm someone who will succeed. Even on my worst days, I get things done. Just think about the stressful situation that's coming up match your statements with the situation. Now it's time to do another list because you will write down all the things that you're about to say. I would like you to tell the mirror all the things that you're thankful for.
For example, I'm thankful for my health. I'm thankful for my family. I'm thankful for this old t shirt that I just found. than the bottom of my closet. I'm thankful for the sunshine. I'm thankful that I have this delicious cake in my fridge.
Just make a list of all the things you're thankful for today. They can be as small as the cake in the fridge and keep this list close to you because we are going to use this often over the second week.
