Welcome to the last week of the my seven word self love course this week pay even more attention to how you start your mornings. Make sure they are as positive as they can be, because the mornings may put an emotional stamp on your entire day. For example, I love to go for morning walks or runs because they energize me and clear my head. I love the fresh morning air so I build that in my daily routine. I also pay attention to never rush myself when getting ready. I'd rather wake up 15 minutes earlier, but I prefer to take my time to eat my healthy breakfast in peace and appreciate every bite of it.
I highly recommend not to start your day by watching or reading the news because there's a 90% chance they will be upsetting disturbing on they will make you angry generally speaking You want to avoid those negative emotions when you're preparing for your day. I know it's a lot to ask. But try to avoid chatting and checking your emails you have the whole day to deal with problems and other people. Treat your morning as your vacation from stress your getaway from the word where only you exist. I personally love to listen to happy music to have me get started. You can give this a try as well if you feel it would work for you.
Also, this week, you will focus on not to rely on external sources for happiness. You don't need to be in a romantic relationship to feel amazing. You don't need friends telling you you're capable. You don't need food to comfort you. You don't need anyone to believe that you can make your wildest dreams come true. You only need you.
So this week, you will be more important than others in your life for the sake of learning, but you need you more than others, at least until the end of the course. The self reward system is something I use to this day. Don't forget to reward yourself at any moment. When you feel you achieved something. Small success is also success. Here's the general exercise for the entire week.
Practice saying no to favors you don't want to do someone asks you to give them a ride to the airport. But you were planning on relaxing at home. Say No. There's always a bus to the airport. That person would get to the airport if you weren't around anyway. Don't say yes to things out of fear of upsetting others.
They will live but don't upset yourself. Do you know the feeling when you're angry? thinking I would never ask such a thing. Why is she asking me that then? sentences that start with I would never most of the time. To you feeling bad about something, so say no, and save yourself the trouble.
You cannot just expect others to live by your unwritten rules, set your own rules and make them clear for others. So you minimize the I would never sentences
