Today we're going to find the middle ground between respect and love. How much do you respect yourself? What does your environment say about you? I truly believe that our friends and homes give a very accurate picture of who we are. This is why I tidy up after me and keep things neat. The dishes don't smell for three days in the sink, and I have no dirty laundry lying on the floor.
Also, I love myself enough to give my buddy good nutritions Sports music and no bed distractions. Going back to my TV example. I personally dislike watching it, it's usually stimulating my brain the wrong way, and it takes away useful time. I could have spent outdoors socializing or learning. Watch what you feed your brain with. Today, write a list about what you would like to change about your environment in order to promote a good image about you, how would your home and your actions reflect self respect and self love?
Give yourself enough time to think about this exercise, then write everything down. Here's my list of examples. I always wash my dishes after us. I spend time outdoors every day. My room is always clean and tidy. I work out three times a week.
I eat plenty of fruits every day, and by my favorites, even when they are a bit more costly. I significantly lowered my time on chat, because my time is a valuable resource. I always look presentable or professional when I leave the house. I always start my mornings with a big nutritious breakfast while listening to uplifting music. Each week, I learned about something new to stimulate and train my brain. I never rushed myself to avoid stress and mistakes.
When you're ready, choose which one you would like to start with, and do it today. Then in your own pace, start taking all the items of your list. Take your time, even if it takes you a few weeks. It doesn't matter how fast you get there. What matters is that you have this on your mind and you take steps forward to create an environment and habit that shows self respect and self love. Respect is not given.
You must earn it with others and with yourself.
