And then the very last thing for Freddy King sensation is the tag that he plays. So he gets to the end of the song Let me go ahead and play The Last Lick plus the end tags, we got this. And then he's gonna go into this first position starting from the fifth fret of the first string, eight, five on the second string 875 on the third string. And then we got seven, five on the fourth string, seven on the fifth string. So that whole run now he's gonna do this. This little open fifth string, someone taught me that one of my subscribers on my YouTube channel corrected me when I tried to do a Freddie King and tech lesson he said, No, that's not how he did it.
And apparently he knows some guys in Texas that saw Freddie King and showed him or taught him or told him how to do this. And he told me and sure enough to me, that sounds exactly like what he's doing. So when he finishes that run, he needs just a second to get his fingers into the chord positions to finish it up. So he's going to use that open a some of the other songs remember we just did a quick strama hideaway, and out front when we get ready for the end tag, it's a way to buy a second and get your fingers ready for the timing. And then he's gonna do this. Which is this kind of different shaped ninth chord.
I'm not sure if this is a ninth chord or not. When I first learned the song, I would play it like this. That's the ninth chord. This is what Freddie King does. Once you're done, this is the shape you're going to end up with. So this is like an A, some kind of a ninth, seventh, whatever, I've got my first finger on the fourth fret of the fifth string, my second fingers wrapped over and get into the a fifth fret of the fifth string, they might ring fingers on the third fret, fifth fret of the third string, and my pinky is on the fifth fret of the of the second string, actually, I'm sorry, my ring finger is on the fifth fret of the fourth string.
So I've got first or sixth string, fifth string, fourth string, second string, and then the third is ah, it's open. So when I strum it, I'm not getting the first string at all. And then this is just the same chord. I just slide into it from one step above. So that whole and tax goes like this and that is the end of sensation
