In this lesson, we go deeper into the concept that you are a vibrational being. Your thoughts and feelings are constantly sending out various frequencies of energy. moods affect your energy. When you're in a good mood, your energy is smooth and at a higher frequency. When you're in a bad mood, your energy tends to be more jagged and have a lower frequency. Here's a simple way to experience your energy.
I want you to just take a minute and do it now. And if you are not in a position to do it now then do it later because it's important. Take your two hands and you rub them together vigorously for about five to 10 seconds, especially if your hands are cold. But you want very vigorously, just like 10 seconds, then just move them to hold just interest To a part in front of you, you will begin to feel the energy emanating between your hands. So just give it a little time. And once you start to feel that just slowly pull your hands apart for just a little bit, and then move them back together, and then a little further and back together.
With this back and forth motion, you will feel the energy almost as if it's a block of energy. And this is the energy that you have the lifeforce in your being. And it can be intensified by using your thought and intention, just by intending for it to get stronger. Now the concept of energy in the body and an energetic body beyond the physical is certainly not new. For thousands of years, practitioners of Eastern healing and spiritual traditions have understood And meridians that correspond to various organs in the body, as well as chakras, which are the spinning wheels of energy, that also core correspond to organs in our body and create that auric field of a person. Never nevertheless, modern science is definitely catching up.
Now, I'm going to get a little technical now, but stay with me because this information is important to understand. As early as the 1920s Harold Saxon Berg, who was a distinguished researcher at Yale University School of Medicine, he suggested that diseases could be detected in the energy field of the body before physical symptoms appear. And he was convinced that diseases could be prevented by altering this energy field. Now, science has long known that cells and tissues generate electrical fields that can be detected on the skin surface, and a 1963 two scientists from secure Syracuse University, Gary hardball and Richard McPhee, they detected the bio magnetic field projected from the human heart. Then in 1970, these heart measurements were confirmed by David Cohen of MIT, who used a squid Magneto meter, and he also was able to measure the electrical fields emanating from brain activity. More recently, bio magnetic fields have been identified with the discovery that all tissues and organs produce specific magnetic pulsations.
So it's scientifically known that we are electrical beings that vibrate energy. Now while science is only measuring the energy around the physical body, We know that this energy is generated by the individual's life force that fluctuates with thoughts and feelings. And there have been many studies and experiments on the connection between our thoughts and our emotions, and our state of physical health. Now, emotions let's take a look at that. One way to look at the emotions is E motion, energy in motion, and the emotions run on a spectrum. The higher frequencies of emotional energy are gratitude, love, joy, freedom.
At the other end of the spectrum, you have emotions such as depression, fear, despair and grief. And then of course, there are all other emotions in between these two polarities. Now, while you may experience a range of emotions throughout your life or even within a day, we become empowered to know that we do not Have to remain in any one emotional state. As already said, emotions are energy in motion. So emotions are meant to be experienced and then to pass through you. And this is true for all levels of emotion.
No one exists in a perpetual state of joy and bliss all the time. nor are we meant to remain in a depressed or dependent despondent state all the time, even though there may be times that you experience these emotions. Freedom is achieved when you recognize that you have a choice. You can choose as to how you will feel about a purse specific situation person or thing, including yourself. And sometimes we don't realize that we have a choice, but we do. And to have a rich life, a full life in every area of our life.
You need to make wise choices. Now your exercise for this lesson is to make a conscious choice to raise your vibration by expressing gratitude. So tonight before you go to bed, write in your journal 50 different things don't you can't repeat just 50 different things that you're grateful for. And then verbally repeat each one as you genuinely feel the gratitude for each item. So, this is an important thing. Let's not skip this exercise.
