In this lesson, we're going to talk about the power and the impact of your words. how fast the Persian poet says what we speak, becomes the house we live in. Your words are more powerful than you might think. Both the words in your head and the ones that you speak. Now I want to take a look at some of the amazing experiments that show the effect that sound has on matter. For instance, the late Dr. Masaru emoto experiments with waters in the 1990s.
And he had some remarkable results. He performed a series of experiments observing the physical effect of words prayers, music, and even the environment on the crystalline structure of water. And now here's how he did it. He had photographers take people of the water after it was exposed to these various conditions, and then frozen, which formed these crystalline structures. Now prior to the experiment, water didn't really have any particular structure just sort of random shape and form. But it changed after being exposed to various words, music, both positive and negative.
Positive words and prayer yielded beautiful forms, and negative words or phrases really produced these ugly formations. unbalanced geometrically. So take a look at these pictures you can see at the top the difference between two different songs and the effect that that sound has on the physical structure of the water. And in the lower one you can see you know, the Thank you You disgust me love and gratitude, very clear, amazing results. I'd like you to watch this short video of Dr. emoto, his famous rice experiment. Now it's only a minute and 20 seconds.
So if you could just copy this link, it's a YouTube video, put it in stop the stop this presentation and watch this because it's better than what I can explain. It's very informative to just watch it very quickly and then you can come back to the program here. Another interesting not so scientific experiment that you could try yourself is the good Apple bad apple experiment, also known as the power of your words. Jennifer had posted a blog on the Huff Post Healthy Living sites. And I'm going to read her article and we can go down and see what the results were. She writes my life partner, our seven year old son and I recently conducted experiment to see how words might physically affect our bodies.
Our son had recently started developing a habit of saying mean things to himself when he's feeling down like I'm stupid, and I'm the worst. My partner and I had been trying to get through to him. The saying unkind things to ourselves as well as to others, leaves a damaging impact, but he just wasn't getting it. And then I remembered having seen the amazing results of a fascinating experiment that Danielle Laporte conducted with her family, where they talked negative to one half of an apple for a certain period of days, and loved up the other half. Admittedly, I felt somewhat skeptical about whether or not we could achieve the same results, but we decided to go ahead and give it a try. To start the experiment.
We took a fresh apple cut it in half and placed each half in a circle Bread airtight jar, we labeled one of the halves good apple and the other bad apple. And we left both sealed jars on a dark shelf in the corner of the kitchen. Every day we said kind loving encouraging things to good apple and mean nasty discouraging things to bad apple. And 20 days later, bad apple was rotten and good Apple was still good enough to eat. Your words have the power to heal and to just dry. So the next time you're saying negative things to yourself or about your life, stop and speak the words that will create the results you want.
Speak the words will create the results you want in your business, in your relationships, in your health and in all areas of your life. And when you wish to create a condition in your life, make an affirmative statement as if the condition has already manifested. Now what I mean by this is speak, for example by saying, I'm so happy and grateful that I'm debt free and Oh, no one anything. You speak as if it has already happened. But that's not all. Not only do you speak the words as if they, it's already happened, but you must feel the result.
You need to step into that reality. What does it feel like to have your debts paid off? That's the feeling and the intention that you put out to attract that condition to you. You need to match the vibration that you want from the universe. Then you see it done. You know it's done and you give thanks that you've already received it.
These steps are very important because You need to be, you know how Gandhi said Be the change you want to see in the world? Well, you need to be the change you want to see in your own life. And then take action. That's always important. Take action moving toward your goal. Napoleon Hill said think twice before you speak because your words and influence will plant the seed of either success or failure in the mind of another.
And we can also say in your own mind, your self talk, your negative talk, this plant seeds, so does your positive talk. And we all know as children, maybe there's a teacher, maybe there's your parents, maybe there's some other figure in your life, who said something to you, either positive or negative, that really did plant a seed. And we know those seeds grow over time. So very important that we're aware of how we speak to ourselves, internally externally and how we speak to others. Now for a much more in depth understanding of the power of your words, go through my free mini course doesn't cost anything. It's how to speak your success, the shocking truth of how your words impact achieving your goals, you can click on the link below, I'll include it so that this will give you a much more in depth understanding with some exercises.
So I think you'll enjoy that. Now your exercise for today is identify any negative statements that you say or think about yourself, or even hurt as you were growing up and record them in pencil in your journal and you want to leave a space between each statement. So in pencil, any of those dates You know, things like your parents may have said, Oh, money doesn't grow on trees or whatever, any kind of statements or you're, you're stupid if a teacher said that or you're the worst at that this or that, whatever comes to your mind, and any negative self talk that you have. So go ahead, record those in pencil in your journal. Then once you've identified as many as you can think of, I want you to go back and write underneath each statement, the positive statement to replace it, the opposite of what it is being said negatively, you're going to make a positive statement to replace each one of those.
Then I want you to go back after you've done that with each of them, and cross off the negative statement, just cross it off with a pencil. Then for seven consecutive days, I want you to read the negative statement and then the positive If statement for each, and do that every single day for a week, and what's this is doing, this is training your brain to negate the negative statement and you can cross it off every time you read it and state the positive statement as a replacement. Then you go back and you erase the negative statement. So then you're just left with the positive statement. So give this a try. I think you'll find it to be very helpful with reprogramming your subconscious to be able to release any of the negative statements
