In this video, let us design this hanger and learn a new tool rectangular pattern. First, I'm taking a rectangle and I'm going to extrude it. The dimensions are only approximate. I'm going to take another rectangle. I'm just going to offset it and I'm going to use the Shelton I'll be adding a little bit of fillets. There.
Now I'm going to create a middle plane. Now, I'm going to sketch my cross section on this plane. So this is my cross section. Now, I'm going to extrude this. I'm going to go for symmetric option as I want it to be uniform on both sides. Now I'm going to take the new tool rectangular pattern.
In create we have fountain rectangular pattern. In this I have an option to select what I need to pattern I have created feature. So I'm going to select this feature, which has to be pattern. There are two options, extended spacing. spacing is the distance that I can give, which will lie in between two consecutive patterns or consecutive features. So unselected the symmetry so that the number of entities that are created are created symmetric about the existing feature.
So now my hangar is ready. I'm going to create two holes, using which we can mount it on door or wall for creating these holes, I'm going to select hole option. I'm going to create a hole. First of all I need to place this hole I can give the dimension like diameter and that's that I'm giving you a depth of 15 and the diameter again as to 13. Now I can select the type of hole I need. I need a simple hole in this case.
I can also give the tip angle but in this case as it's a simple hole, and it is going to be a through hole, I'm not going to change it I can also use this option called multiple holes at a time, I can make a number of holes. Now I'm giving the distance from this edge I just need one hole and this is going to be my reference plane from where I have to give the dimensions. So now that this hole is created, I'm going to use another tool called the mirror tool so that I have the same hole on the other side of so I have this middle plane already created. So I'm going to use this as my mirroring plane. So I'm selecting this middle option and I need to mirror the feature. That is the hole that we have just now created.
And my middle plane is going to be this plane. You can see how easily I have created another hole. Now I'm going to appearances and adding material to it.
