I find it important to give you a tiny, tiny little bit of background information of what you're about to learn, but then is called salsa, which is the Spanish word for sauce. Now it is called salsa because it's a mixture of a lot of different dances and original songs are first evolved in that way that we're dancing now, in New York City where people from different origins off while Hispanic originals from South America came together and mixed up their music and their ways of dancing. Today, we have basically four songs that we dance around the world. One is Cuban salsa, Puerto Rican salsa, New York style salsa and Los Angeles style salsa. Now, Cuban salsa is dance basically in a circle movement, while the other three are dance online. What I'm going to teach you is more the online style because they're in this in this style.

You have a lot more opportunities to style and do stuff by yourself. Why Cubans quite fixated on what the man is leading you. Salsa is dance on a four fourth rhythm, which means we have a cows to work with, but we only dance six of them for an eight opposes so we make steps on 123 and 567
