I highly encourage you to exclusively dance in dance shoes for several reasons. First of all, dance shoes are closed, so you can't slip out of them and hurt yourself. Second, they are made out of leather on the downside, so you don't stick to the ground and hurt your knees or anything, but you can slip the way that you needed to for turning and moving. Dance shoes come in a very numerous forms. Usually you probably want to dance with heels. And there's different heels also.
These are actually Tango shoes, they got 10 centimeter heels, and they're usually a bit too high for salsa dancing, especially when you're a beginner. When you start out, I want to encourage you to use a broader and smaller feel which is Like this six and a half centimeter, or even less, ideally, when dancing, your heel should not touch the ground. If it does, make sure you still get your way to the front. Because if you're standing back, your partner can't lead you and there's a higher probability of falling or hurting yourself. So only take a shoe with a heel, that you're still able to push off the ground and holding it up to upwards. If you're having trouble with this, you might want to consider to do your training or your classes in jazz shoes.
There's two different forms. There's just sneakers, which are soft in the front and nice to dance in, but they look a bit not too feminine. And there's just shoes which we usually use a lot more on stage, and they're a bit like socks. The only problem here is that they not softened in front praise So your feet will start hurting a bit earlier than they would do any way when going dancing. I think all of these shoes are totally fine to work with. When again, when choosing a heel, make sure that it's a height that you can manage.
Don't use too high heels in the beginning, you will get there but there is simply a very high risk of hurting yourself. And please do not do it dance in anything else and dance shoes because when the shoes are too slippery or too sticky, when you can have your leg get out or something or you can fall to one of the sites. You can easily hurt yourself and sad so fast dance salsa. So dancing socks if you don't have any shoes yet, but please do not use any shoes that are not really best for dancing. And when you get yourself some shoes, make sure like they're the real cool ones. Like The one you really like.
For example, I just love glitter in everything like onstage and dancing. So my shoes are always really glittery. I know it's girly, and that's part of who I am. And we want to have fun and dancing. So go pick shoes that make you smile.
