Okay, so in this part of the video, we are going to learn how to put transition in a video. When I say transition, I mean to say way the video appears, is how you can translate between two parts of the video or how we can translate at the start of the video or at the end of the video, I will be showing you how you can put the transition between all the three locations. So we get started with putting the transition at the start of the video. So to do that, we have to first place our pointer, this red bar at the start of the video, I go to the transition tab here. And let's say I select let's say I select a call merge. So I have to drag this transition and drop it at the start.
So if I want to view this Did you see that merging so my transition is getting it matched. Now let's say I'm going to place a transition here, in between the two parts of the video. So let's let's take something like this. So I simply drag it, and I place it. Now, the placement over here depends on where you want the transition whether you want it before this video appears, or while this video is appearing, or a beautiful transition between the video appearing and this video disappearing and this video appearing. So I normally like to put it in between the two parts.
So choices yours, you can try out either of the ways and see what works best for you. So let's check out how this transition is going to look like. We're just so you seen that evaporate section that happened over there. In case you don't really like this transition, you can simply select the transition and hit the delete key from your keyboard. And in case you want some other transition in that case, we can do that as well. So let's say take up Okay, let's say I take up this I drag.
I place it in the center Now let's say play. So that was a nice smooth transition where it actually got the attention of the person onto the video. Now, when you put in transition at the end, we have to go to the end of the video. So I simply slide through. That's the end part of my video. And let's say I want to put up a transition, which is like a bar.
So I drag and I place it. So let's view the section now. Okay, that was the end. So I think we need to just crop this part of a little. So what we do is we crop off the credits. So it's like kind of revision of our first video.
So I placed my mouse pointer, I click split, I click on this part of the video and hit the delete key. Okay, so let's replace my bar here now. And then So that's how your video is going to end. So if you want to have the duration of the video, you simply double click on the transition, and you can increase the transition duration. So as you see, as I'm increasing it over here, the changes that are happening over here, you can also drag this to make it simpler. And then if you will, if you view it it's a slow transition that's going to fade off.
So if normally we are keep the duration high or we increase the duration at the start and at the end, so that it becomes easy for you to know that there is a transition put up over here. Okay, so what we're going to do next is how we are going to insert images into our video. So this is an exciting part that we're getting into now where your video is going to look very attractive, and it's going to look super awesome. So we're going to see how we're going to add in images See you in the next section.
