Welcome, welcome. Welcome to this course where you are going to learn video editing on this wonderful tool called Filmora. I'm so glad you took up this course to learn something for yourself. And it's going to benefit you have big, big, big time. So what we're going to do is before we even jump into learning the entire tool Filmora let us understand how we can have Filmora onto our system and how we can use it accordingly. So I'll take you through a run through from where you will get Filmora Exactly.

So you would have to click on your browser that is either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome and simply type in Filmora. It will direct you to the very first link onto your Google page and that's where you will get your Filmora so you see this Filmora dot wondershare comm when you click on this it will take you to To the Filmora website. Now over here, you got to download the Filmora nine version. So if I click on products, I see Filmora nine, I just click on Filmora nine and then I click on free download. So when I click on free download the second file would be downloaded and then you run the setup. Now since I have Filmora into my system already, I will not run the setup again, all you have to do is just click next, next, next next and then the setup is done onto your system.

So I will show you how the Filmora five will look like. And we will start with creating a new project and opening the Filmora file. So that's wondershare Filmora nine so after it has been installed, this is how it's going to look like. I click on it takes some time to initiate and then we will proceed So it will be initializing in this manner and after the screen is done you will have your screen may want to have to select the new project and all of it. So, after it is initialized the entire Filmora is open and these are the two options are going to get the very first time you will have something called as new project and you will not have any past projects here. Like I have created my Filmora file.

So I have my past projects. So you click on new project. And this is how your Filmora exactly looks like. What you have on top is your menu bar that is your options are file edit tools, view export and health. So these are the tools of Filmora. As in when I'm creating my work, I have to use each of these tools.

Okay, this is my area where all my media files would be there that is I would have my video files my image files if I'm using any kind of anime meishan that is some kind of a GI f all that stays here in your. Okay, this is my timeline. So when I say timeline, I am going to work on this particular area for all my edits that I do. If you scroll down, you have two types of timelines. One is the video and the other is the audio. Can you see the music like I could mess the audio.

If I want to add more layers, I have to just click on this plus and you have to add more layers. I will show you these t in details once we actually get into creating our files. What we have here is the preview tab. That is whatever I added over here is visible in this area. Okay, and yeah, so that's what the window. In the next section we're going to jump on to creating your first video where you're going to edit your video directly.
