So now let's check out the most exciting part of this particular video course where you're going to learn how to put in images into your video. So before you even start with it, you have to go back to the beginning of your video. So one way is to drag it, drag a slider here. The other ways in the preview tab, you simply drag this and place it at the start. So automatically you come to the start of the video. Okay.
Now, before we insert images into a timeline, it is very essential to have the images on to our Filmora. So to do that, we go back to our media Media tab here. And you see this import option. You click on Import, click on Import Media Files. And I have some images out here which I'm going to take in over there. So let's say I take in the first images, this and the image comes in over here.
Now there are two ways of putting it image into your video. One is where you want the image on top of your video. That is you want the video running and you want the image on top of the video, or you want the image in the start of the video or the end of the video or in between the video. So it depends on where you want the image to be. Actually, you bought the way so you can try out the combinations and check what suits you the best. So the very first thing is we're going to see how to put an image at the start of the video.
So let's say I want to insert an image over here. So in order to insert the image here, I'll have to have some space created for the image. So what I do is I simply shift my videos in such a way that I have some kind of space created for the image. And then I drag my image and I place it in this space. So if you see the box like structure that's created, so I simply drag it and drop it. Now why did I create the space I'll show you that as well.
So if I had to go back to how this looked like, Okay, if I had just dragged it and dropped it here, some part of my video goes away, and I don't want that. So hence, I have to shift this parts of the video and then drag my image. Normally you do this before you even start your editing of the video so that you know where you have to place the image and then how the video continues. So I placed my image here. Okay, let's see if I want to view this. And then I'll have my transition, and I'll have my video coming up.
So this is how we can place a image on before the video. Okay, in the same way I can place the image after the video so you just drag it and place it at the end. Now let's see how I'm going to place the image on top of my video that is while the video is on, I want to see what's happening in the video as well as check out the images so it acts like a pop up thing you know. So I go to the import tab, I click on import media files, and I select my second image. It's right here. Now let's say I want to put the image somewhere over here.
Okay, so I drag my image and I place it on top of the video. Do you see the difference in the timeline? This is my Video Timeline. And I just place it on top of my video timeline and I drop it. Now you see this image covers the whole part of my video. Okay, so if I want to like let's say view this now do you know yourself?
Or here we are just so you've seen this image had covered the entire part of the video. What we'll do next is we are going to see how you're going to resize this image and make the image look like a small pop up onto your video. Okay, so in the next section we're going to see how we're going to resize the image
