Hey guys, Zach here. Welcome to another episode of escape school. In today's episode we're gonna be teaching you. Let's get started. To get started head to your local skate park. Find the smallest quarter pipe you can see make sure you can drop in very easily.
It helps to practice this trick on a mini ramp so you can have fluid motion on and go back and forth very easily. For the tail stall, make sure you're riding backwards with your feet and fakie position as best as you can. Keep your weight on your back foot the one heading towards the ramp as you're riding backwards look behind you towards the ramp focused on shifting your weight on your back foot as you ride up the ramp as you read the topic ramp, shift your waist on top of the coping, pushing your foot back in your tail on top of the lip. As you feel your wheels hit the coping linear weight on top of the lip of the ramp, slamming your tail down and spinning just as you would to drop in. Once you get comfortable, you can really leave your way on top of the deck holding the tail stuff for a lot longer.
Once you get into the tail stall, you use the same motion as you do to drop in, slam your front foot back down onto the ramp, bending your knees and right away clean. This is a great starter trick for beginners learning how to ride a mini ramp. Alright guys, now you've mastered the tail so it's time to take it to bigger and bigger brands.
