All right, we are at the very end. Let's assume now that you want that fade in and fade out for a slide. One trick I very often do in PowerPoint is I use, I use transitions to make the fade in. Then I select right click new slide, I create a completely blank new slide, I right click on the slide, I select Format Background, and I give it a black background. Look at it from the first slide it the first slide will fade in to a black color, for example fade, you get the idea, this light will be only here to count as a fade off. On the transitions tab, I make sure that this slide has one second have a fade off as is or maybe zero 75 one second is a bit easier to count and it will proceed after 07 This means that this blank blank slide will have no duration besides this one second.
So just in case we create a video Now, let's say that my video is supposed to have 10 seconds, no problem, one second of this fight off one second of this fading, I will increase it to one second. So we have eight seconds of the slight left. Let's see know if everything works properly. And if you would be exporting those two slides, they would make a 10 second video. Why do I use this blank slide instead of just making the next slide and fade off? Because I want just this one slide.
This is just a little helper. Of course we do not have to make this fade off but it looks a little nicer because if we wouldn't have this slide, the slide the video will just end a blank video and look at it. It looks like So, one second fade of eight seconds of this animation now, boo, boo boo and written fade off at the end. See, it looks a little nicer than just abruptly ending the video. This is why you can use those tricks to make a fade in or fade off. Of course, you could do this another way, you could insert a rectangle, but this is inconvenient, you could insert a black rectangle, you could go to animations, and you could make this black rectangle to fade in.
But look at that. I'm selecting with previous I'm making this black rectangle to the appropriate place I would like it to be and 725 maybe more. It will end at nine seconds. But look how inconvenient if I want to edit this slide. I need to move this to the side then I need to edit and then I need to bring this back. Of course this was work as well because this is a normal animation.
But I do prefer to have another slide which will be that little fade off. No matter if you decide for it or against it, this is something to remember. And it's convenient to have a fade off or exit slide even for your normal presentations or normal posts. It's always a very nice thing to have to have this little fade off. In the next lecture, we'll finally export our ready video, I'll show you a few examples how to make ready posts and slides out of this design.
