So let's talk about diligence. This is probably after hope one of the the biggest impact you're going to have on whether you succeed or not. Because diligence keeps going, when the rewards are distant. I've seen this time and time and time again. The people that succeed are very clear about what they're trying to achieve what they're trying to escape from, as we talked about in the previous video, and they're very clear about what they want to move to. But diligence is what keeps going.
Diligence is the activities that you keep doing, even when you don't feel like doing them. And diligence is the things going to keep you Going through those times when the income isn't coming in. And this is one of the things with online entrepreneurship, you are going to struggle at times the income might be low. And it might not be coming in the way you want it to. But the diligent online entrepreneur, we'll keep going, we'll keep working. And the reason it works is like this, it's compound interest.
Now with online business, what happens a lot of the time as long as you've got a good market, as long as you've got a product that people want, and that product is something that is genuine that it gives them value. Oftentimes, the biggest problem is getting the ball rolling. So don't wait to understand it's like this. You start out and you've got you're at the top of a hill and you've got a little snowball, it's tiny. And if you've ever built a snowman, you'll know how this works. And as you push that down the hill, that snowball is going to grow and get bigger and bigger and you keep pushing, and you keep building.
And at some point it becomes hard, quite hard to push. And then what's going to happen eventually, is all of a sudden, under its own weight. That snowball will start rolling down the hill on its own. And the diligent part is all the way up to that point where it starts rolling by itself, knees still need to guide it, you don't let it run off. crazies don't gonna need to guide as it rolls down the hill. But that's where we need to be diligent, we have to keep pushing.
So that means you've got to do your marketing every week. You've got to keep creating your content. You've got to keep building you've got to keep growing. You got to keep trying. And it's the diligent that will win. It's the hare and the tortoise.
The hare runs from While falls asleep, the tortoise plods along keeps plotting any wins the race. And this is one of the biggest secrets to success with online residual income generation is not the one who creates the courses the fastest if you're creating digital courses or creates an E book fast, is not even the person that goes out and buys all the stock and puts it on Amazon. It's the person that keeps plodding along, keeps diligent, keep pushing the snowball. That's the thing you need to understand. build any online business the first 12 to 18 months are going to be really, really tough. And that's why you might want to consider maybe doing some freelance work, or some part time work where you're in control of your hours, because the income is often lower at that point.
Now, if there's two of you, this is a great opportunity if one person can cover the income while the other person builds the business. But you have to both be diligent if as if You're a couple and you want to do this, you have to both be diligent one has to be diligent in the support and seeing through the first 12 to 18 months. And the one has to be diligent that they keep pushing forward when they're building the business. And this is the key when it doesn't work at first. You have to keep pushing, you have to keep trying different things, you have to keep changing, because you might have an idea. And it doesn't seem like the ideas working.
Let me give you an example. Recently, I had some courses I created, and I shared on a certain platform, and then I kept creating new courses. And these old courses didn't do very well at all. And I just assumed the courses weren't very good. It didn't work. So what I then did, I took that course eventually.
And I just put it on another platform. And on that platform, those two those courses that I had out of 16 started out selling every other course they've been really successful on the other platform and to my Least performing courses became my best performing. So when it doesn't work at first you have to keep being diligent. And you have to practice diligence. diligence is something you have to do. When you don't feel like it.
Diligence is something you have to do. When you don't want to do it when it's not working. You have to keep being diligent you have to work and work and work and work. And then you will get there. You have to practice diligently has to be as much a part of everything you're doing as hope. diligence is a core principle you have to incorporate mentally and emotionally if you want your online entrepreneur business to grow.
And oftentimes, you have to revise your timelines. Because what happens is when we hit dream about building an online business. We can look at it and think only six months, I want to be here and you get to six months. And you're a third of the way you get to a year, where you fought you would have financial freedom and you're half of the way. Sometimes you have to revise your timeline. Sometimes you have to say, okay, we didn't succeed here.
We didn't quite get it right here. But let's be diligent, as carry on, revise our timelines, look at what failed, look at what worked and move forward. So guys, practice diligence.
