So we're gonna start painting. The first thing, it's good to have a scrap paper of the paper that you are painting on a good sense of what the colors will look like. And because we have an extra space around this piece to test some colors and because she's a fairly neutral color, I'm gonna test out a few things and make sure that the colors we have are really compatible what we're doing because, you know, if you're painting a bird or you're painting flowers, it's pretty easy to just fake it. And even with neutrals, you can do it but I tend to prefer to see you know, is the neutral cool, Is it warm and just get a sense For the mixtures before we get started I'm going to do some of that here. Drop some water and all the different colors. Especially the neutrals here.

Really helpful. But also some of the other colors, a little bit of warm colors rather than just completely straight. So we're going to be probably mixing here is going to be a pretty good color for us. I'm going to get some out and I'm just gonna put a little bit down. So when I look at it, you know, that's pretty close to the color. It's a little bit warmer, a little bit brighter.

It's okay if we embellish the color just a little bit to make it a little more fun. But this will give us a good sense of it, we can add some, something a little bit like a paint straight into this and tone it down a little bit if we want to. And that's going to give you something a little more muted more close to actual colors. You can also use like a blue or something to do this because Brown is in the orange color family. So you can get a little bit of that as well. similar result might be a little more vibrant, a little more fun because anything in the great family will tend to tone down the color and make a little more bland.

So we have that we kind of get a sense of that. Make sure you have some paper towels with you or some kind of white here. Brush. Wish all the color into your water because if you're using the same time, then you're creating a little bit of a mess. You might not want to have some clean water and clear a bucket for washing your brush. If you feel like you need to do that.

So that you have a little more room to maneuver. Especially this water gets dirty or we're going to replace it. Paint spray. I know that by itself. This is gonna be a little bit Are there some areas where we can probably make it work but it's a little bit a little bit warmer, so we're gonna go first might take some extra to get it to warm up because it is a fairly strong sense of strength. And anything in the gray or black family will tend to stay kind of muddy longer.

Hello This is more than enough water next time, take care pretty good and I'm going to dilute it down even more to get started. So You should know that but with watercolors, it's good to start with your lighter colors first so you can block in some areas. So really, it just takes time to figure out the colors trying a few different things. tinting blues into a color if it seems too warm or adding warm colors to it if it seems too cool. Now don't let your colors get too muddy. We want them to still stay nice and strong.
