Now, here's another major reason why people do the things they do. They will do an awful lot of things out of fear. Yeah, the four letter F word fear. People will do virtually anything out of fear. Now, people will also simply destroy their lives out of fear. living in fear is not a good way to live.

But what is fear? Fear is simply a worry that you repeat over and over again, in your head. And what makes it powerful. It's made bigger, more powerful, with pictures and feelings. So remember, we said whatever you focus on, you get more of this is especially true of fear. That's why you got to be careful.

The more you picture it, and the more feeling you put into it, the worse it gets. So you're picturing and you pick bigger and brighter and more intense and you keep looping it, looping it, and the feelings are going up and up, your fear is going to get really bad to the point where you can have a panic attack. Now you've gone from generalized anxiety disorder, panic attack, you know, you're gonna feel like the room is spinning like you're running out of air, like the whole world's crashing around you like you're sure you're gonna die. You know, you're flapping around the floor, all these horrible things. Why? Because you let a fear get away with you.

So, everybody remembers the acronym for fear false evidence appearing real. That's what it is most of the time. Now, RBT will teach you how to get rid of these fears. But I'm going to give you some tips right now, because I want you to get past your fears. The first thing is undo the formula. Make the picture smaller, less frequent, less intense, make them doll make them farther away the feelings.

Practice relaxation instead. Fear and tell your mind to quiet itself. One of the best techniques is this, you ready? Just tell your mind to quiet down the shush technique. whenever it's talking about something, you don't want to hear you having a feeling you don't want to feel your mind's just starting to raise. Go.

Sure. It's a great stop technique. Fears happening because you're having fearful thoughts, which create fearful feelings which create fearful actions. We've got to break the cycle. That's why the the shush technique just going. work so well.

It tells your brain stop talking, stop talking, stop talking. But if you say stop talking, stop talking. What does it do? He keeps talking. For some reason. I don't know why we use the shift technique and you just go sure It tends to quiet it down, even the period of time as you're going.

Sometimes you make it a long one. What does that do? For those two or three seconds as you're doing that? Why are you making that sound, your brain can't get a thought in. If you can go through three seconds when another fearful thought jumping and jumping and jumping in because they're jumping in about every one to two seconds. They're Gunny sacking on you, they're just they're just being piled on top of you.

That will give your mind a break. And for whatever reason, he creates a nice relaxation response to help you beat fear. And remember, fear is false evidence appearing real. And for the ones that may be real, though literally one out of 100 if that. attack it. Remember your mind always says what's happening here?

Is the fear stronger than I am or am I stronger than the Fear. If you move towards the thing that you fear, it says you're stronger. If you move away from it withdrawal, your brain says it must be stronger. So you will feel better about yourself and you will feel less fearful moving towards the fear, which means take an action to take care of it to resolve it, ask for help. Remember, problem shared is a problem half solved. That's true.
