Hello everyone, my name is Jerry uhlaender and I will be teaching you today, the seven PR secrets every founder should know. This course is based on the book seven PR secrets all founders should know. And I will link to it in the show notes and in the class notes so that you guys can take a look at it. Also, during this class, we will be developing a PR narrative for your idea or your company. So each part of those exercises I'll go through, but just just to warn you this is an interactive class that I want you to get a lot out of by actually doing some of this PR work. So here's a little bit about me.
I've been an entrepreneur for the last 20 years or so I write a bunch of books, written seven PR secrets, entrepreneur ethos, frustration free technical management. I've been at a bunch of accelerators, 500 startups and Launchpad digital health and I've also blog over at the daily MBA. So one thing to remember as we go through all this is that your promotion is going to be greater than any of your product features functions, because if you've got a great product and you don't promote it, then it's really not a great product. It's kind of like if a tree falls in the woods, does anyone hear it? Well, without promotion, your product is nothing even if it's a great product. So with that, let's get on to the first secret
