Our next secret secret number five, is you really need a press kit. And I know a lot of people probably don't know what a press kit is. And traditionally, it's actually been a packet full of paper with, you know, product slicks and photos of the CEO and everything like that. But in modern days, it is actually a link on your website where you can show people things that are important. And the reason you do that is because like you reporters are super busy. And so you want to make it easy for them to write stories about you.
And you do that by giving them all the information they need, like headshots and BIOS and product pics and news reports and stuff like that. And so here's a great example of a wonderful press kit. It's a company called sutro or sutro connect.com. And this is just part of their press kit. And what's really great about it is they've got all the brand assets They've got the logos they've got what the fonts look like, you can download all these things, so that if you need something in a crunch, you don't have to like text the CEO or text the marketing person. And that's a really important thing because when a report is on a deadline, the last thing they want to do is have to hunt around for things.
So you have to make it easy by putting your brand assets, your logos, your product pictures, all the goodness in a dedicated place. And that's usually in slash press kit off the root of your domain. And what I'm going to do in the class notes is I will actually give you a worksheet which will have what to put in it as well as a checklist so that you can make awesome press kits. So that's it for press kits. Please please please please make them for your product or your company. And we will get on to the next secret
