In our final lesson, we are going to remind you that your personal brand is only as strong as the time and attention you put into loving it. You need to live your personal brand the same way you live your personal values to reinforce their potency. building and maintaining our personal brand awareness requires consistency and behavior. We need to embed our personal brand into our daily routine. Our personal brand is reinforced when we interact with others consistently. How we deliver on our promises reinforces our brand.
Let's recap what you learned in this course on personal branding. First of all, your brand must be managed. If you don't manage it. Others will on your behalf, their perceptions that may or may not be true or be conveying the personal brand you want to promote. get clarity on what your personal brand stands for and how it's different. How do you want people to know you?
And once you have that answer, promote your brand all the time. through how you dress, how you communicate, and the behaviors that you exemplify. Personal Branding is the sixth trait of your executive presence, along with confidence, relationship building, communication, resilience, incredible leadership, having completed this course, and perhaps the other five related courses, take a moment to perform one last reflection in your workbook. In this reflection, document, at least three key action items that you will start doing immediately to begin enhancing your executive presence. Maybe you're going to get professional photography, take it or perhaps you will join a not for profit board. There is an infinite number of ways that you can strengthen each of these six traits of executive presence.
Those with executive presence or self managed beings. executives are first and foremost accountable to themselves. They recognize when something needs to be done, and then puts in place actions to address whatever comes up, they look at their personal and organizational goals and drive improvement through leadership and the relationships they develop with others, and they never blame anyone else for anything.
