All right, so hopefully that wasn't too Draggy. Now let's wrap things up with what you've learned, which is a lot. I swear this lesson will be short, and I've never let you down on my promises so far. Anyway, always name your notes properly. And if you prefer, you can even color code them so that you and others can understand them. Of course, this is up to you.

And sometimes color coding is also not necessary. Always remember to hit Ctrl S to save your file all the time for you never know when the software might crash. This also applies to After Effects By the way, and actually, anything that is software by default. If you have the chance version up your new scripts when necessary. versioning up in New York is easy and it's a good way to back up your files to be able to revert back or copy notes from a previous version with ease. That way, you are not worried that you made too many changes that your work is too far gone for you to backtrack eventually if you need to use hotkeys, always, Nuff said, copy and paste notes when necessary.

This is especially useful if you are totally new to nuke and can't remember what the names of the nodes are. To keep tabs of your notes and progress. Always establish an organization system for your work immediately. For example, naming your nodes using backdrops immediately where you can. It is usually best to do this from the start. So you don't have to trace back your steps to start trying to organize things from scratch.

If the shot is complex, starts with the simple stuff first, and see if that solves the problem. Speaking of complex in the next lesson we will talk about the complex frenemies relationship between nuke and After Effects.
