Hi, this is your host Habib and we are moving to our next communication model known as TCP IP model. This topic is going to be very short simple and precise. So, let's follow along this model is the actual implementation model of the internet communication. So you can see it is the base of the internet itself. It is very similar to the OSI model as you can see in the diagram there. It is developed by the US Department of Defense.

The communication of the network is divided into four layers. Application presentation, and session layer, also known as the host layers are shown as a single application layer transport layer remains the same network layer it is also renamed to internet layer. layer one, the physical layer and layer two, the data link layer of the OSI model is shown as network access layer. The TCP IP model is very simple, it uses two protocols. One is the TCP protocol, also the reliable connection oriented protocol known as the Transmission Control Protocol, and it runs over the IP also known as the Internet Protocol. So that's all we have to remember about the TCP IP model.
