Smoking, okay? Or any addictions. Now, you could easily replace smoking with any sort of addiction. So gambling, alcohol, drug taking any of those addictions, Let's wipe them out. You don't need them taking up your money taking up your time, even killing you from the inside out. If you'd like smoking, if you don't have a problem with smoking, if someone else is telling you to quit, you won't quit.

It has to be 100% your decision. But let's look at some of these issues to tap out. Let's talk about those addictions. Now this could be porn, alcohol, drugs, gambling, whatever the case may be. If someone is addicted to something, and I say this as you're working on someone and as you're working on yourself the pain that the addiction causes has to be greater than the pleasure that it gives. Otherwise that person is never going to give it up.

I've seen this personally many times, especially with smoking, for whatever reason the enjoyment they get out of smoking is greater than the pain it can cause or could cause in their life. So the first thing to tap out is I am an addict of smoking, gambling, porn, whatever the case may be. I'm addicted to. I use my addiction for support. I use my addiction for comfort. I use my addiction for me time.

I use my addiction to relieve stress. The addiction is my friend. What is the use instead? Hoping. So then you want to get them or yourself to remember the very first time that you can think of that you were doing the addiction as well as the habit of the addiction. Then the normal time you would do the addiction.

Either tap yourself as you're going out for that cigarette, or the time that you would be going out drinking all the time that you would normally go to the club to sit on the pokies whatever the case may be. I use my addiction to be social. I believe it will be impossible to stop permanently. When someone mentions what I'm addicted to, when I see someone doing what I'm addicted to. I love my addiction. I have done this addiction for as long as I can remember.

So basically it's become a habit. My addiction will kill me and hurt my kids. I'll lose my identity, if I don't do my addiction. And that's a big one too. If they believe it's part of what makes them then it's pretty hard to quit being here. You can even make up excuses that if you really love me or whatever the case may be, you will accept me for my addiction.

Now, you may need to go back through the previous lessons, especially for addictions he and jot down everything else that's related to it. If you gamble because you have no sense of value, or whatever the case may be, but Just know that addictions are very, very hard to break. Because even if you believe that you're getting there, anything can trigger you and make you snap back to that behavior. It might just be that, you know, a mate has a casual slap at the pokies, for instance. And that's enough to trigger you to go back to spending thousands and thousands of dollars on pokie machines again. So, everything in anything, there's a lot of stuff that's not on this list that is relevant to your own life.

So it's up to you to really get down to the deep root level of it, and pluck it right out of your life. So I'm thinking the very first instance is very important. The very first time that you realize you're addicted, admitting to yourself that you are an addict is all so very important. Realizing you have that problem. But anyway guys that's it for this lesson. Join me in the next one
