Welcome back in learning how to play the sax, let's keep going. What we're going to do today in this lesson is talk about three more notes. Now, a couple of lessons ago, we talked about the first three notes with our left hand. So we talked about B with the first finger, a with a second finger, and G with the third finger. But up until now, all we've been doing with our right hand is just with our thumb underneath. That's all we've been doing.

It's just been providing balance. Now, what we'll do with this lesson is we will introduce three more notes. Now the first note is all these three notes are now using our right hand. So with the left hand, we will keep those three fingers the ag will keep those fingers but now we're going to be adding More fingers. Okay, so the first note we're going to add is an F sharp. You might have heard the musical term sharps or flats is quite a few notes.

And we won't worry about all of them now because too much, so we just made a few notes. But each note, most notes can be either sharp or flat. So in this example, the next the first note we're going to learn with our right hand is an F sharp, we could have a normal F, but in this case, we're just talking about F sharp, so we'll come back to normal apps. So the first one is an F sharp to play the F sharp is the middle finger on the second of the three little finger pads. Okay, so we're 12312 so second finger, middle So it sounds like and remember, we're keeping the three fingers at the top and just adding this one. So we'll start on a B, and we'll go down to an A, down to a G, and then down to the F sharp with the middle finger.

Okay, ready? Like this. That sounds like Bye. Is the F sharp? Okay, we'll do that again. You join in, please feel free to join in 12345.

Good, how'd you go? Let's add a Let's add another one. So what we're going to do next is we're going to add the point of finger. So instead, so the point of finger so now we've got two things, we're adding them. So we're going to be a G, F sharp, new notes point of finger E. So it's still Got these, these two fingers at the bottom doing nothing. So we've got F sharp, a. Alright, so, same again, what we'll do is we'll go B, A, G, F sharp, E, and we're going down, it's getting lower.

Alright, follow me. We'll just see how we go. Ready? 123 ha. Let's do that again. 1234 Thanks.

And once more for like, ready 1234 Now, keep in mind, I'm holding my saxophone up so you can sort of see what my fingers are doing when you're playing Stand up straight, and you kind of have the saxophone down a little bit towards your side. Okay? Not straight up in front. It's a little bit a little bit to the side. So kind of hits on your on your hip bone. Okay?

So, again, I'm just exaggerating so you can see my fingers when you play, stand up nice and straight. All right, we've got that one. So the third note, we've just added an F sharp with the right hand, middle finger, we've just added an A, with two fingers on the right hand, and we're now going to add the third note, third finger which is a D, D for dog, E for egg, F sharp for F sharp. Okay, once more with feeling we'll start at the B will be a G, F sharp, a D. Alright, let's try that 1230 Thank you. Let's do one more the low notes start to get a little bit a little bit different. So you might want to lower your jaw, lower your lips just a tiny little bit.

Not a lot. All right, let's give that a go. Again, starting on the B with one finger 1234 how'd you go? Did a wobble did it honk sometimes at honks kind of a kind of a noisy squeaks and bleeps and bloops. But if you concentrate on keeping your mouth nice and firm, and if you maybe lower your jaw, a tiny, tiny micro little bit, that might help. So what we will do this time is we'll start at the the Begin B, A, G, F sharp, E, D, take a breath.

And then we'll go back up again. D, E, F sharp, G, A, B. Okay, let's give that a go Ready? 1234 and once more for luck Let's do it one more time. 123 ha. How'd you go on reckon he probably did really well.

Well done. We will talk about some more with F sharps and E's and DS. In the next lesson. Well done. See you soon
