The next song that we're gonna learn is an instrumental in the KFC by Sylvester Weaver. It's called on busy and you can't come in. I'm gonna play just a little bit of it for you and then we'll talk about the chords and the song structure. I'm busy and you can't come in by Sylvester Weaver is in the KFC and most of the verses are just C, F and G. So a C major F and G. Primarily we're going to use a G seven when we play G. Now there's also a bridge to the song where we go from the C to along a. Now we're gonna go back and forth between a long a And then a seventh, then we've got a D seven, with the thumb getting the second fret of the sixth string. And from there, we're going back to a G and then to a C. So basically the verses are C, F and G fng.
The bridge is the A to A seven, D seven, and then back to the, the G, and the C. Now the tricky part of I'm busy and you can't come in is the bass part what we're going to be dealing with their right hand thumb. And for the first time, instead of just a straight six, four, or five for alternating bass throughout the song, this time over the C, and also over the G, we're going to work in what's called a 5464. So we're going to be alternating fifth string, fourth string, sixth string, fourth string. And as we get into the different parts of the song I'll show you show you how that's done.
