So in this video, I wanted to talk about a tool called bright, local and bright local is really designed for people that are looking to rank local SEO properties. It's really not designed so much for what I like to call just kind of organic properties that are more looking for global search rankings. It's really for small businesses or just businesses in general that are looking for information on how they can improve their local presence for their business. So in this video, I'm actually going to walk you through some of the tools you can find with bright local, if you do decide you're interested in checking out bright local, if you've never heard of it, I will leave a link and if you do decide to go through that link, I will receive a small commission so I definitely appreciate that. It's going to cost you the same regardless.

And I will also mention you get a free trial if you decide to sign up so there's really no risk. The company will even if you ask them, they'll even extend the trial for you. So I highly recommend at least doing this Whether or not you're a local business yourself, or you're, you know, an SEO consultant, SEO agency, this is this tool is really going to be something that I find, you will find it's going to be very useful for you. So first off, I'm just going to walk you through all the different tools, we've got the rank checker first. And I've already got a few reports in here, but I'm going to give you an example report. This is basically what you're going to get, you can put in all the different keywords and things and then you can also add in like being in Yahoo.

And you can also compare how you're ranking in the map pack versus the actual organic listings below that, in this example, I've actually only got organic ranking showing. So I just kind of wanted to show you. These are a lot of local terms like boiler tune up in Middletown, and this particular company is ranking for a page in Orange County in New York. This middle town is a city in New York and They've even got a second ranking for that. As far as I can tell, the ranking reports are fairly accurate. Let's see if we do a test here.

If we type, let's do boiler tune up, Newberg, I'm gonna throw that into Google. And these are all ads at the top. And you can see, here's the company here, ranking number one for boiler tuna. So they're actually doing really well. And that's going to help them quite a bit with you know, if anyone goes looking for boiler cleanups in this particular city, you know, here they are number one showing up for that. So it's really giving them some advantages and in the maps there in terms of showing up organically.

So that's really what the ranking report is for. You can export it to PDF or CSV Excel file. You can even send it out I believe you could put it into might not be with this one. Oh, yeah, here it is. You can put it to an external URL. So you could actually send someone a link, and they could look at this.

Let me show you what it looks like. Here's an external one. So if I wanted to send this to a client, I could do that. Then if we go to SEO checkup, this is really just going to give you some more basic data. Here's another example over all Florida pool. And you can see, you know, it kind of gives us an okay, you know, here are some of your average rankings, your local search ranking, your Google Plus listing and your local directory listing.

And they kind of go through and just give you a little statistics, like how many pages are indexed in the Google search. Different things like how many links are coming in the age of your site, where it's hosted, it's in the US. And then you know, they also take some keywords and kind of show you where they stand. They look at some things like you know, whether or not the pages on your site are unique, the descriptions, other different things like testimonials and things like that, we can do some markup with special coding. But generally, you're getting kind of a vague report here as to what what's going on reviews for the business, whether or not you're found on some of these business directories that are important. A lot of similar stuff that you're finding in some of the other tools.

Next thing is the citation tracker, which, depending on where you're watching this, if you're in my local SEO course, then basically I've got I had a previous video where I showed this, but you're going to see a report of how you stand for all your citations and business listings. So really, you're going to see the top 10 directories and other additional directories, you can build what's currently active, you know, here are all the sites where there's already a listing how powerful these are in terms of authority, and the value of them last time it was identified, all really good information. Then we've got a Google Plus Local wizard. I've already run a report with that as well. And here you can kind of get an average average of how they stand in terms of competitiveness. You know how many photos are set up for those particular citations.

And then you can view it by keyword and kind of see where they stand for some of these things. And you can look at your competitors. So here are all the other competitors. And you can kind of match up like well, this particular citations got a 41 out of 100, but royal pool services got a 48. So it might be worth looking at some ways we can bump up our all Florida pool client here. And we've got citation burst.

This basically allows you to buy a bulk package of credits and then have them build citations for you. As I mentioned in one of the prior videos, there is a tool marketer center or you could always use Upwork to just outsource some of this stuff, to freelancers. And then review biz. This is actually a really cool little tool. You can basically create a little badge I can show you what it looks like. Go to a website now.

Give this a second to load. And I'm going to go to the blog on this site. And this is one that I've incorporated it on. I put in this lever, leave us a review. And here you can see all the different sites LinkedIn. And then there again, down here in this kind of like box, you can customize this.

And then if you're a marketing agency, you could actually put a link back to your own site. You know, here I've got by presently media. So they've got this kind of nifty little tool or people who go and click and leave a review. So you can go and make these badges all day long, depending on you know, what you're doing as a business. And again, you can even white label the badges so you don't have to have their branding on them. And then review flow.

I believe this tool. I didn't actually create a report for this yet, but I believe this does some things with reviews and you know, you You can always do this see how it works. I haven't played with this one a whole ton, but I think it's just something with specifically with reviews and reporting might have some more control over that. The biggest advantage of this tool really is the rank checker. And the citation tracker is very, very good. So definitely go ahead and check out bright local as I said, they do have a free trial.
