So in this video, I wanted to talk about another platform. I have not built a ton of websites with this platform, but it's something that I've worked with with a couple of clients that I've worked with. And I've just found that it might be a really easy solution for some of you that are looking to build your own website, it's probably going to be, you know, potentially a little bit easier than WordPress, because they actually set up all the hosting for you. The interface that they use to build the website is almost like drag and drop, there's not a lot that's required to really get it going. So this might be a better option for someone that's not very technical. They're willing to kind of give it a shot themselves and, you know, try to learn their system, and then just kind of build out something that's going to look nice for, you know, what they're trying to do.

And this platform is called Squarespace. So if you head over to their website, you can kind of you know, get an idea of what they're all about. But, you know, they focus on you know, here they talk about, you know, they do sites for a lot of businesses and artists, musicians, you know, the bloggers that pretty much got any type of site, you could want restaurants. And one of the big things that they have that I do like is if you click on this little, it's kind of like a line icon at the top right, you can check out their pricing. And if you want something that's going to be, you know, just a personal site, up to 20 pages, it's just eight bucks a month billed annually looks like $12 a month otherwise, and then they do have a business plan. It's pretty popular.

But it looks like you know, the some of the extra things here, you may not need those. The biggest thing is that they've got a custom domain support. You can sell one product which in some cases, you might not really be selling products, you're probably just trying to display, you know who you are as a business. So what I wanted to show you was an example a client that I work with, that's actually using a Squarespace website. This is a company called silver tie servers run by my client Betty. And this is a pretty simple site.

I mean basically you've got you know who we are what we do. services and just a simple form a potential client could fill out and, you know, just kind of get some information about what they do. And you know, they just have simple pages here, the different pricing testimonials, you know what to expect when working with them. And you know, just a lot of general kind of stock photos here. So it's a pretty simple site, you could probably put something like this together on your own, if you're willing to, you know, take some time to build out these pages and write some of the content. Maybe you hire a graphic person to help you with some of your own images, and things like that.

So I just thought I'd show you guys this and this is another option for you. If you're looking to kind of do a website on your own.
