So in this video, I just wanted to talk about setting up a Twitter profile. And the reason for that is Google really looks at Twitter as one of the most popular social media networks, along with really Facebook, and Pinterest, as well as Google Plus his own social platform for, you know, some of the prominent places that you could really set up your business, I would say, you know, you don't have to spend a lot of time here necessarily, unless you choose to do so. But Twitter is really just one of the kind of main social media places that you really should be on. If you're a small business. The other thing that you'll probably want to keep in mind over time is with all these social sites, it would eventually be good to link to them from your website. So you have, you know, maybe a link somewhere towards the top of the website or even down in the bottom at the footer area, where you have links to all your social media accounts.
And it just, you know, kind of shows Google that, that you're in their good graces because you've basically you're all over the place. You're you're participating on all these networks. Eventually, what you'll be able to do as well, which we can talk about further on in the course, is maybe moving some of your blog content into these platforms through some automation. So you won't actually have to be manually going into Twitter to say, share a blog post or some page on your website. So what I'd really like to have you do is, you know, head over to Twitter. Here on the homepage, you can see all the new kind of trending stuff going on, of course, you know, there's basketball, and you got Taylor Swift I saw here with Ricky Martin, but you know, basically, you can sign up and also be a business on Twitter, if you're not familiar with it.
What you're going to want to do is go to the signup link, and just go through it's very, very simple, just like all the other sites, and get a Twitter account set up for yourself.
