Hello guys, welcome back to the exercise part in your journey in discovering your life purpose. And today in this video we'll go to explore and do the exercise in exploring your passions. Now, as you've seen in the previous video, as you've learned in the previous video as well about passion, what is passion? What is the difference between passions and hobbies? And what are the similarities between them as well. And now it's time to really dig deep and investigate into your own passions, okay.
So the first part is, make sure again, you are in a condition in a in a place where there's no noise, you're alone, there's no distraction around you. So you can be reflective and you can be relaxed and calm, because there's a very reflective process. So you want to make sure you're in the right environment. And this might take maybe 30 to 40 minutes, so make sure you are Using you're having enough time for the you're putting enough time for this, make sure you have enough time around 30 to 40 minutes to do this process, because it is very, very important that you as you go through this process that there is no interruptions, because it's great to really affect the quality of the process of. Okay, ready. So now, make sure you have paper and pen.
And it's time to write down because we talked about passion is about activities. So, and this time, we're going to look back in the past. Yeah, but we're not going to live there. We're going to learn from the past. Yeah. Because fashions is something that you do.
It's not something that you just suddenly have, you can't really know whether something an activity is your passion or just your hobby, if you never really try it. So we're going to look back from the past and think that you have done which one are probably your part of your passions. So look back And think about the activities that you really love to do. And in doing this because it's an activity, so in writing down, write down five to 10 activities. That has nothing to do with your family circle, though. You can say like, for example, playing with children, it's okay if what you meant by that is any children, not just your children.
If you're saying just taking care of children or playing with children, and you meant just your children, then that's only in your family circle. But if you meant by children, any children, then it's beyond your family circle, and that's fine. So make sure the activities is something beyond just your family circle. So it stops it has to start with a verb. So for example, developing a business or playing with children or or reading a book, it can be anything that generate that different kind of energy, that definite that generate that kind of hunger that something that you really love to do that, that generate energy positive energy from you as you do the activities. So to do this to help you do this, you can make some kind of category and in terms of your life stages as well.
Think back maybe the tank things as long as you can remember about since you were a kid, all the way till you, let's say, seven or eight years old, and then you can make another category from seven or eight until you're 15. And then all the way you can use by age you can use by your education, when I say your kindergarten or elementary school or junior high in high school, and then college or when you're in University. He can use any kind of category to help you systemize to have a structure a framework in thinking in this period of time of my life. What other things without the activity. Is that I that I've tried and I really love doing and in each of that category, and then write down what was it that you that you did that you really love to do. And by the end of it, you can just put all of them together.
The reason we're making this category is just to help you structure the process to make it more effective, so you're not missing anything. So really go back all the way. Even if something that you're not doing it anymore. It's okay just just write down five to 10. Actually, they have more than 10. That's also fine.
But make sure there's something persisted with a verb because there's an activity and make sure it's something beyond your family circle. And make sure there's no distraction around you. And don't forget to put the detective hat on you're the you're the detective now, investigating your passions, investigating your life purpose. So time is yours. Go ahead, man.
