Personality is a unique combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual's distinctive character and which you build over time. But have you ever wondered what the combination really well, to put it simply, the personality embodies three instances. instance number one is the person who really are an objective reflection. instance number two is the person you think you are that pretty picture we all have about ourselves. instance number three is the person you think your environment created a result of your background. These three come together and create yourself.
Remember that images are reflections of your own behavior. Furthermore, you have the power to change those traits you don't like about yourself how to do that. The first step is to become aware of the three instances I mentioned earlier. This is very important because it often creates conflict The way you see yourself and the way your boss or your friends see you might be totally different. And as a consequence, they can have different expectations from you. When people take tests, they answer from one of those three instances and most of the time, the results reflect who they are.
That's the ideal case. But sometimes a small fraction of people are dissatisfied with their results. Why is that? Well, it's because they answered from instance number two or three, they weren't completely open about their personality, and so the assessment got altered. The underlying idea here is to be completely honest when taking psychological tests so that the results can put you in the right direction. Don't deceive yourself by saying you're outgoing.
When in fact, you are reserved, and people oriented. Instead of task oriented, psychological tests like the disk the MBTI or the PMA I exist so that people like you and me can identify our personality type and then use the results to improve certain aspects in our lives. That in itself is extremely helpful as long as you don't fully identify with your test result. The most important thing you have to remember here is that you shouldn't box yourself in categories established by psychological assessments. Remember this, you're not just the result, you are more after discovering your dominant traits. The third and final step is to start changing circumstances.
Notice the fact that I said change circumstances and not change personality, as promised and delivering to you something real, something that you can implement in your life. I changed my circumstances by trading my Mac and for gray walls, with the people busy environment that pushed me to grow coming back to present day I'm still cautious, but I go out, I dance, I play activity, I do sports. In one sentence, I interact with people. And when it's too much, I know that I have to stop for a while and rise. I haven't become an inspired, I've become a more balanced analyzer. Remember the assignment about walking in your opposite personality types shoes for one whole day? Well, that was meant to make you realize how you can benefit from the resources your reversed self has.
And why stop there. You can easily pick out traits from the other two personality types and groom them as well. Of course, you won't become an AI overnight, but you get a glimpse of how an AI behaves like and what their environment looks like. A couple of days ago, I read an email from a student who has participated to this training I held offline. He told me that he had managed to understand the whole getting out of the box concept and how At first, he thought he would emerge suddenly. But after a while it came to realize the first step out meant coming to know your own self.
After acquiring the necessary insight, he started noticing that the people around him were different. But what's more, he could say in which way they were different. He didn't realize it on the spot. But the truth was that he had already gotten out of his box. He was interacting with other people, learning from them, and changing. Don't forget that change happens from within out.
Start your own psychological revolution, and see how the worlds of your own box thing. start seeing the world in a new light. Take my advice and let yourself get inspired by others, so that you can inspire and grow more. So bottom line, do you want to improve your personality type, then find situations in which you have to do The opposite of what you normally do. Challenge yourself, if you count on logic is switch to feelings. If you're emotional, try on pragmatists.
