Cool. So now we're going to be dealing with the in menu UI instead of the in game UI. So this will be like our main menu, but it'll also be our pause menu, there'll be both be the same thing. So first thing we're gonna do is turn off our in game UI, because we won't be seeing that. And then under in menu UI, we want to turn that on. And then we want to right click, we want to create a new UI panel.

And we can just drag this right up. Awesome. So that covers our main area. We can change the color if we want a little bit so we can have like a Bluey color or something, just choose something that you enjoy. So we want to create our play buttons, we can just right click Create new UI button. Same deal.

We don't need the text. Call this play button and change the sprite. To a play button, preserve aspect. And then we can change the height and the width to 300 by 300 or whatever you think suits. I'm going to bring it down a little bit just to cover up our player. And the next thing we want to do is create a new empty, I'm gonna call this logo.

And then underneath logo, we're going to create another UI. We're gonna create a UI image, and that image is going to be a balloon beach title here. Once again, she's thing that suits you. Drag this hump Nicole this title. I'm going to create a new image. I'm going to choose the game toggle logo, bold.

Change about 250 to 250. And also bring this to the right location when coolest left ball, and I'm going to copy and paste. Right Oh, cool. And I'm just gonna drag the title underneath. So kind of this there in the background. And then just fiddle around till you get something that have something that you think looks good.

Cool. So that's the in menu UI. Obviously, nothing is working just yet, but let's just turn off the menu UI. And let's go to a game over menu UI. So first thing we want to do is we can actually copy this panel awesome straggling to that You can obviously change this to something be something else. If he wants something else to add like a different color key, we could make it like a red color or something.

But I'm just going to leave it as is. Next thing we want to add is a button. And this will be to restart our game. So obviously because it's gonna be called a restart button and get rid of the text, because obviously we don't need that. Let's change the sprite to the restart button. Let's change the preserve aspect.

I'm gonna change this to 303 hundred, just like our play button. And then I'm going to drag it down just a little bit just to cover up our character as well. Once again, this is all personal preference, do whatever you think looks good. Next thing is our heart right click, UI button. So when a call is hot, and then in brackets, add Oh show add spice, it's a good way of saying it. We don't need the text, we can obviously change the sprite to the heart.

We can preserve aspect ratio and change the width to 150 by 50 choose the position that you would like to be cool. The other thing we need is our crown to show our high school, we still need to code the functionality for that but that is fine. So first thing we need to do is add a another image. This image will be the crown. So I found that for 38 by 290 looks pretty good and change the position Call his crown image. Next thing I want to do is add some text.

So we're gonna have some text mesh pro text. I'm gonna call this high school. You know the drill by now, let's put in a number 458, whatever you want to name it. It's a lot about the center. Let's change the font. Let's change the size.

Bring this position up. Okay, so now we have the basic menus set up. Now that doesn't look crash hot, but all the items that we will need there, and late in later episodes, we'll be cutting the functionality and editing the animations. So now I'm just gonna make some final adjustments to really Make this menu system look better. This is all personal preference. So just choose whatever you think looks good.

And run with that. Cool, so I'm pretty happy with the in game UI. I'm pretty happy with the in menu UI now. I think that looks much better. And I'm pretty happy with the game over menu, you're gonna have a red tinge there. And I think everything is a bit more proportional, it looks a little bit better.
