Are you ready to expand your identity? We're going to take Who am I one step further. In a sense, we've talked about you doing your I Am Presence as far as I am.dot.so I want you to keep working on that. But in this exercise to really hone in on who you are, we're going to take a look at what your strengths are and what your weaknesses are, so that we can call on your strengths and call out your weaknesses because technically, when you can focus on your strengths, it allows you to integrate the best version of you the areas that you can use to be able to bring those in, call those in and position yourself from such a way that it sets you up to feel accomplishment, because you can use the best gifts that you have within you. So you can kind of connect to the gifts and realize that your strengths are your gifts.

But on the flip side of that, when it comes to calling out your weaknesses, technically that is fear. And coming from a place of facing those fears to say, Well, how can I look at these so called weaknesses and how can I create skills and techniques and basically build on those weaknesses that I can really revert them that I can turn my weaknesses into strengths because usually your greatest weakness becomes your greatest strength. And your greatest strength is your greatest weakness. So in this exercise, not only am I going to have you list out your strengths and your weaknesses, and want you to look at your strengths, and your weaknesses within your strength and vice versa. To give you an example of this, I'm going to use my own example, I should say, as your baseline to understand this concept, in principle, this is one that I did for myself.

I don't even know how many years ago. And it's amazing now to when I pulled this up for this exercise of even me looking at my own progress and this and where I'm at and how, Wow, I've brought balance to these strengths and weaknesses and I can use them both to my advantage now. To give you an example, I am a imaginator always been this big dream dreamer have big dreams and always know that I'm 10 steps 10 steps ahead in my thoughts on that, and I can see it and I can have a vision of it. But when it comes to then bringing it into form, because my vision is so big, I always had trouble getting and grasping and pulling that into form because my dream was so much further ahead than my ability to make it happen. Now I can tell you where I'm at was my dream 20 years ago, and then I'm in living the dream now.

It's so bizarre to look back that it took me that long time ago, but again, I was becoming it was in process. It's just that it was such a big dream. It took a lot for it to come into form. Another strength that I had is being organized. But from the week the weakness standpoint of that I basically then had learned how to skip steps. I learned how to get a lot done in a short amount of time.

But then it also then took a lot of time to be able to maybe do it the right way. And besides what is the right way. What are used to then realize is that I felt from the weakness of that if I had to slow down to get it right. For instance, I give you an example of this. Putting together like a desk or something that's in a box and reading directions, to read the directions feel so limiting feels so slowing down to have to read all of that stuff to To put a and b and c and d into screwdriver, use the screwdriver here and this particular part, I was always such an person that with this vision and my organization, I could just take it out. And without looking at it, I just see the picture.

And I can basically put something together and I didn't have time or the patience for the directions. But then if I put something backwards and get it almost done, and then that last piece wouldn't go and because everything was flipped, no, I had to take it all apart, to be able to put it together in the opposite of what I did, so that by the end of that last piece that would fit just right now that's very like I literally did this many times with putting stuff together so I can tell you that but that pattern of my life was also a piece of trail that I can see that basically sometimes took me longer to do things because I was jumping up too fast. Another thing about me is that I always got motivated and still do very easily. But I was so motivated, and I've gotten so much better at this, I was so motivated that I would wear out fast, I'd be like the sprinter, versus being able to come at it from a place of endurance and to be able to not wear out so fast.

Now, I've got so many things in balance that I have a lot of plates spinning, but so many areas in my life are imbalanced that it allows things to flow. Another area in my life was being very compassionate for people. But on the flip side of that I could become too accommodating and it would take in own too much of somebody else's situation. And even as a chiropractor for many years, it took me a lot to step into a authoritative figure to carry that doctor's authority to Be able to be the doctor versus like the patient, so to speak, because I would have so much compassion and the flip side of that, that also made me a very good doctor with very good bedside manner. And another thing, just even example, you'll see my list but you know, being very focused, but the problem was sometimes to get so focused to get tunnel vision.

Again, these are all so much better than they used to be. But I want you to list out your strengths and within your strength, how are what's your weakness, because there's going to be a strength and a weakness that blends with some very primary things within your life. And the key is that you use your greatest strength and the greatest weakness out of it. And you begin to call on the strength to cultivate it from a sense that how can you use that strength to benefit you as you go forward in your new ways, but then on the flip How can you look at your weakness in a sense that you can combat it and face it head on with your strength, and then you will bring balance to your weakness and then you become balanced in this in such a way that you're reclaiming both sides of you your strength and your weakness and collecting the fragments of both and then that will help you move forward in a very much more productive, balanced way.
