There are two types of deep breathing techniques that can be used during a Pelacore class. Diaphragmatic deep breathing is otherwise known as belly breathing or 360-degree deep breathing.
Diaphragmatic breathing is great to calm the sympathetic nervous system moving us from "fight or flight" to "rest and digest."
360-degree deep breathing allows us to access all parts of the pelvic floor to get a more efficient pelvic floor muscle contraction while also allowing for full thoracic mobility, especially of the lower ribs and diaphragm.
