Welcome to ultimate drumming calm. I'm Jim McCall. I'm going to show you this really cool sand and rock and roll beat. person we're going to play for you. I'm gonna break it down note by note and show you how it works. One and two and three in These great sound of rock and roll beats are called eighth note rock and roll with 16th note variations.

I'm actually playing a combination of eighth and 16th notes on the bass drum. Even though the pulse is on the eighth note, in order to get the 16th notes in the right spot, you got to be counting one e and a two e and a three and a floriana. While playing an eighth note, right, go something like this one e and a two e and a three and a four E and a three and a three and a four E and a one and, man. One e and a two E, three E and a four E and a white. For this first beat, I'm going to show you in this series, I'm going to be placing the bass drum on beats one playing a quarter note, and then an eighth note on beat three, followed by two sixteenths, on the and and Up, up three. I'm going to coordinate it together with the ride pattern so you can see where everything fits.

One e and a two e and a three and a four E and a one e and a two e and a, four E and a one e and a two e and a one e and a two e and a, four E and a one E, two e and a D. Now I'm going to add the snare drum on beats two and four, one e and a two e and a three and a four yet Now once you get comfortable with that tempo, we're going to pick up the speed a little bit. I'm also going to be moving back and forth between the closed hi hat for the ride pattern and then the ride cymbal for the ride pattern. You want to get used to play in both ways. It's gonna go something like this one e and a two e and a three and a.

There you have it another excellent sounding rhythmic pattern you can add to your drumming repertoire. I'm Jim Call. Thanks for using ultimate roaming.com
