Welcome to ultimate Brummie calm. I'm Joe McCall. I'm going to show you this really cool beat. First I'm going to play it for you. I'm going to break it down note by note and show you how it works. What These great sounding beats are played by placing the ads on the right pattern.

It's like the beat is used in all styles of music including rock, country, pop, funk jazz. By placing the ads on the ride cymbal, it gives the music real nice lift and an uptight appeal. In order to play these beats, you got to be thinking eighth notes. eighth notes are counted one, and two, and three, and four. And now I'm placing the ride either on the closed hi hat or ride cymbal on the ends only. So here's how it's gonna work.

One and two, and three, and four, and one and two. And three, and four, and one, and two, and three, and four. The snare drum is going to be placed on beats two and four. I'm going to coordinate the two hands together. One, and two, and three, and four, and one, and two, and three, and four, and one and three, and four. And in this speech, I'm placing the bass drum on beats one, and beats three.

We're going to coordinate everything together. What and two and three and four and one and three Now once you get comfortable with that tempo, we're going to pick up the speed a little bit. I'm also going to be switching back and forth between playing the ride pattern on the closed hi hat and on the ride cymbal. Something like this one and two and three. Little faster Another excellent Sanna rhythmic pattern you can add to your drumming repertoire. I'm Joe McCall and Thanks for using ultimate drumming calm.
