Let's talk food. I often say that your food is the fuel that your body needs in order to work correctly. If you aren't eating the right fuel that your body needs, then your body may not be working correctly. So what we're going to have a look at here is what you should be eating, what your body does need. And then we will go on later to have a look at what difference that will make in your overall health and how it will help you. So first of all, we're just looking at some different menu ideas here.

So first of all, before breakfast, as soon as you wake, drink a glass of water. This helps prolong your fasting CME area. If you like during the night. If you You can get between eight to 10 or even 11 to 12 hours of fasting, aiding your digestion, it really clears your body and helps you create more energy for the next day. So if you can drink a glass of water as soon as you wake, that is one good house point for you. So here we are, let's talk about breakfast.

Now the most important meal of the day. And I know that there are a number of people out there that really struggle to eat breakfast in in the first thing in the morning. So this we need to take into account when we're looking at different aspects of the cause of your anxiety or other problems. And we're looking at remedies, especially homeopathic remedies because it is important for us to delve more deeply into your appetite first thing in the morning. You might have heard that They quote about you must eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen and evening meal like a pauper. So the most foods ideally should be first thing in the morning.

But you have to make it count you have to eat the right foods you need slow release energy foods. You need foods that are low sugar foods. Let's have a look at some eye ideas there for you. So egg and bacon obviously really good if you're a meat eater. Avocado with scrambled egg egg is such a brilliant food for those that eat eggs. It has protein and a lot of the vitamins and minerals that you also need during the day.

Fruit in your gut. If you're doing dairy Of course. Eggs Benedict again. has got spinach and lots of other lovely things that really make it a nutritious breakfast fruit and veggie smoothie for those perhaps that don't do dairy porridge oats with a dairy alternative serve with honey if you do need that extra bit of sweetness of course food. So the objectives are low in sugars, high releasing, sorry, high in protein and slow releasing carbohydrates. Some breakfast smoothie ideas, peanut butter with banana, Berry and yogurt, fruit and vege it's amazing what you can hide in a smoothie, especially if you've got children that won't eat their vegetables.

Orange, perhaps with a little bit of really dark Chocolate on mixed fruit and milk, banana and oatmeal. And I'm sure you'll come back to me with lots of different ideas that you enjoy as well. So let's have a look at snacks then some mid morning snacks where again we're looking for slow release energy, something healthy to keep you going until the next meal. We want to avoid those sugar spikes and we want to choose foods that are high in the vitamins and minerals that you need that your body needs. So what about cutting up fruit and vegetables, having them in the freezer and then just bringing them out in the morning so they're ready for you and frozen when you need them? veggie sticks of course you really useful with dips as well.

Zucchini wraps, nuts, popcorn easy to Make yourself as long as you're not covering it and too much sweet things. And the zucchini wraps with vegetables inside as well. So these are all things that are high in the vitamins and minerals that will help make your whole endocrine system work so much better. It'll help you fall asleep more easily and sleep more deeply, too. So some delicious lunches might include spinach rolls, egg salad, avocado, salad, couscous with Greek salad, chicken necks, and roast vege always easy to do whenever you've got the oven on. Throw in a tray of vegetables and just let it roast because it's so good for making a soup in the winter as well.

Fruits and veg Pitta breads, tuna and salad wraps, avocado and sweet corn salad farmhouse vegetable soup as I mentioned the tomato and red pepper roasted in the oven. Makes a delicious soup that you can also add chili and make it hot and spicy as well if you like that lettuce and bacon wraps we quite often now use lettuce instead of breads or pices or something else. It just makes it easy to eat and has that nice crispness and is much better for you of course. tips we have a lot of in our house with just some cut up vegetables carrots and celery, peppers, cucumbers That sort of thing. So more snacks here that we can have just a few nuts, few roasted chickpeas. Apple sandwiches something you don't often think about doing fruit and nut crunches.

She can choose bowls beetroot hummus. There are lots of different variations you can do with your hummus to make steps. So your evening meal should not be too large and obviously not high in sugar and carbohydrates. And ideally, you want three to four hours after your evening meal before you sleep. In an ideal world, you'd also not be looking at snacking after your evening meal because you wanted to extend your time. of fasting.

So you're wanting your body to be without digestion for as many hours as you possibly can, because this will improve your energy. If you have more energy, you will then have more healing capacity and more of the right sort of energy to help you be more resilient to anxiety. So I hope this has been useful. There are lots of healthy recipes on websites and I'm sure you will have lots of books. The most important thing that I can say about food is it should be fresh and it should be homemade. Anything that you buy premade will have a lot of salt, lots of sugar and lots of preservatives in it.

And this is not good for your body. The only thing it is good for is for the manufacturer because you'll want to buy more of it, which will make him very happy and very rich. So, remember your food is your fuel for your body and for your health.
