Online Learning with the Qigong for life program

Traditionally, in ancient and even relatively modern China, students looking to learn Qigong found a master and often traveled great distances to study with him or her. After a long period of dedication and being tested worthy to receive the teachings, students were taught certain practices individually or in small groups; they were then sent to practice for long periods on their own, before being again tested to receive the next level of teachings. This often required that students leave their homes for many years or even dedicate their lives to the study and practice. Their reward was to receive these secret teachings and achieve extraordinary abilities and the realization of human potential.

In the 1970s, Grandmaster Dr. Pang Ming, a physician trained in both Eastern and Western medicine, recognized the enormous benefit for the masses of these healing technologies and synthesized the best of these ancient practices into the modern, easily accessible Zhineng (Wisdom Healing) Qigong. This system was taught primarily to practitioners with chronic or terminal conditions in an intensive retreat setting (the "medicine-less hospital" in China), in programs lasting a month or more.

Fast forward to the 21st century, with cyber technology that takes us around the world in a split second. After completing the Master's training with Dr. Pang in China, Master Mingtong Gu came to the West to teach Wisdom Healing Qigong. In addition to offering Healing Intensive Retreats (based on the medicine-less hospital model) at the new Center for Wisdom Healing Qigong in New Mexico and throughout the world, Mingtong dreamed of bringing this powerful healing modality to anyone with a desire to learn, awaken and heal. Students would still be able to study in person with him at in-person retreats. But instead of only having the option to travel across the globe to study with a master, students would now just need internet access to be able to plug in and practice from the comfort of their own homes. Mingtong and the Chi Center team have developed the Qigong for Life Program as the realization of this dream. 

Each time you practice with the Qigong for Life program, you are connecting with and adding to the powerful energetic "chi field" that connects all practitioners of Wisdom Healing Qigong. Accessing the chi field supports your energetic process and progress and amplifies the benefits both for yourself and others throughout the worldwide Wisdom Healing Qigong community.

Master Mingtong Gu is very committed to steady, progressive, embodied the development of his students and community.  His whole system is based on his vision for long term sustainable benefit and growth. The Qigong for Life Program offers three main Qigong methods: the Awakening Vitality Method; the Lift Chi Up, Pour Chi Down Method, and Sound Healing. Each method is taught at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Continuing advanced courses and mentorship opportunities are also available through the Chi Center.

In the Qigong for Life Program, you are guided through your course progression, flowing from one course to the next at a pace that supports you. The courses are designed with a practice portal for daily use and each week a new lesson rolls out with new material weekly.  On the first day of our course, you have the entire form in your practice portal to follow. And the course is 4 months long to help guide you through the process of deeper unpacking not only the form and the ideology but also the profound experiences and challenges of your Wisdom Healing Qigong journey.  This weekly rollout creates an environment designed to help you absorb and expand your capacity in a sustainable manner.
