About the Class

Gentle heal what hurts yoga: a gentle breath-focused blend of somatics, Yin, and classic Hatha yoga. This series is aimed at teaching you simple yet very effective self-healing practices for life-long vitality and ease.

Have you been feeling a general sense of low-grade (or not so low) anxiety, fatigue, and mental sluggishness? If so, you are not alone. 2020 was a challenging year on all levels and many of us used up our inner reserves to make it through.

Now it’s time to tend to the damage that stress and tension have done to your nervous system so that your life force can flow freely again. You need that energy and enthusiasm to do your thing in the world.

Over the course of 8 weeks, Maria Toso will guide you through this meditative and mindful yoga practice series that helps you locate and release deep-seated tension from body and mind. We all accumulate unresolved tension in body and mind that manifests as a general sense of anxiety and discomfort.

We have to address these ailments both physically, mentally, and spiritually. While this course is asana (physical postures) based, Maria also guides you into a deep sense of presence. Complete presence is the point from which you can truly access your inherent self-healing power; that of your true Divine essence.

Please wear stretchy layers and set up an undisturbed place for yourself with a good 4 feet on either side of your mat.
