So one of the things we need to look at now is zoom lenses. Now every photographer should at least one long zoom on the Canon on the budget cameras. Now one of the things we didn't mention, I've just remembered is there's a full frame and a crop camera. Full Frame has a larger sensor crop camera as a smaller sensor. The budget lenses pretend to be for the crop cameras so buying a crop camera or consumer camera, that's your rebels, or as 700 days or 50 days like cold in Europe. Those cameras got 1.6 crop that's the size of smaller sensor than a full frame.

Now, with those cameras, you can buy budget zooms. One of the things you can do if you haven't got a prime is sign that you've got the nifty 250 as it's called the Canon 5250 again about 100 pounds, hundred 10 pounds and if you rack out to 200 millimeter and go to fa, it compresses the background. Yes, you have to move back but you know what you're going to get, you're going to get the same look as a prime, you're going to get that depth of field effect because you're compressing the background. That's a complex subject. Basically what it means is shoot 200 even FAA moves back a bit, do a portrait in the background will be blurry. The compressing the background brings the background further or closer to the subject and that's what you're doing when you compress the background.

You're bringing it forward with a longer lens and a wider lens you're pushing it away. But what I recommend is go get one of these budget lenses and stick them on to your budget James you got kit seems you got super zoomed. But it seems that a real kid seems tend to be the same sort of thing. Susan assumes I've got a Canon 18 to 200 not very sharp, not very fast. But I stick on my seven day I went to mountain brows, bright sunlight, love just taking pictures with that thing is my favorite setup because one camera one lens at 200 a lot of people don't like them because they don't get the quality you don't get the the the sharpness of those lenses because they're trying to be everything to everyone they end up being you know, something that's not quite good at anything, but they take okay pictures.

So that was my 70 I'm quite happy. So check out super zooms something like that. I think my 80 to about 300 pounds, but budget zooms 100 pound. Start with you'll get a kit lens, probably an 1855 and then look at maybe the next one being a a longer zoom a lot 55 250
