Okay, so now we've got a shutter speed activity, here's a project for you, I want you to take an image with a fast shutter speed of something moving very fast. So pull that lever first. So find something that's moving fast, maybe a dog or a child or something running around, or car driving past and what I want you to do, not just a 30 mile an hour car, you know, a fast moving car, maybe if you've got access to a motorway, or highway or somewhere where the cars are a little bit faster or maybe a train. What what we'll do then is remember, the closer you are, the faster they move as well. So most people might be tempted to take picture of an aeroplane, because it's far away. Although it's moving very fast.
There's actual movement across your plane, a slight is very slow. So find something you can get close to and it's running around maybe a sports game or something like that. Take that fast shutter speed photo, but pull that lever first and then adjust your over to leavers To compensate, and to get the look you want. Now what I want to do also is that I want you to take an image of something moving very fast. But now I want you to pull the lever down. Now the trick to this is use a tripod.
Now if you haven't got a tripod What that means is what you want to do or even if you're using a tripod first thing is you should have a timer or a two second delay on the shutter button. So when you're doing these type of shots use that because when you press the camera it's going to move. So put a timer delay maybe to 10 seconds, the 10 seconds is better but you've only got two seconds user press the time and delay and then like go to camera and if you haven't got to try it but what you can do is rest on a wall or chair or something the stable and solid press your timer button and that will go but what we want to do with this one, we want to go to a slow shutter speed to maybe go to five seconds shutter speed or an eight second shutter speed and pull that pull That lever or in this case, push that lever and see what we get.
And then pull the other leavers till you get the exposure that you want
