So to do this course, other than the software that you need to do the editing, as in Lightworks, or dusty, and squared, five, you also need to download some clips unless you have some on your mobile phone, or you shot a little bit of video prep so clips is basically so you can just edit them together and get used to the features in Lightworks. So what we're gonna do is when a download a couple of clips off of pixels.com for slash videos, so in here, we'll look for people. And there's a load of shots of people. As we showed before, we can put the cursor at the top and get a little bit of a, an idea of what's in there. So people will be quite good. So let's just take that guy there, and we click on it.
It's free to use we look at the information again. It's 1920 by 10 ATP 29 frames per second. And what we'll do is we'll then just download and we'll wait for this one to pop up and then select a appropriate folder or create one. Now I'm using a Mac and you may be using the PC but that shouldn't matter too much and then just save that in there. I'm just going to x out of there and x out there and then another clip can actually be selected. Let's choose this one here and go save again.
Now be careful of these ones, this is Shutterstock unless you want to buy your material, I would just be careful of these adverts, because they're tempting you to to purchase but all you want is a few clips that free to use. And that's basically it. So those the two clips just there, and I'm just going to check to see what they are. So I'm just going to double click on it. And this one's 25 frames per second as we can see just there. And the second one is 29.97, which is effectively 30 frames per second.
So there are two different types of video. And it'll be interesting to see. So at the moment, just gather them and then we'll edit them together in the mixed frame rates and then later on in the course we'll show you how to rerender them so that the same frame rate and then how A fixed frame rate
