So in this video, we're doing a little bit of troubleshooting. One of the problems that you may find is that if you move files around off of your hard drive, that the media is showing that it's offline. If we go for media, and then reveal they should show you where the location isn't it saying there is no location. So if you know that you've got your file in the right bin, and I've been editing using this file here, it actually is there at the moment previously and had it in here, I deleted it. probably want to use the father's just there. We go back to Lightworks.
Go right click on the clip and go to media and then re link missing. I want to use a video file that's just here. It's that one their Skype call video and go oh Okay, that now links re links the clip that's inside Lightworks. So again, it's it's important to make sure that you know that your clip is inside the correct folder is one of the reasons why it's always important to label the folders that you're using your video clip from. So hopefully that helps. Again, if I just quit out of my works for the time being, and if I move the clip to hear, just replace the timing.
It's that click there and go back to Lightworks. Double click, and we'll find this offline again. Now if I simply move the clip back into the right position, let's say by just going to there. What I've noticed on the Mac here, is that occasionally freezes. It's not what I want. This occasion is seated.
Okay. So again, if I click on the media clip, if it's offline, go to media, and then re link and then make sure I'm in the right place. It's this folder here, find the clip there, and go, okay. The clip is reasoning. Hopefully this helps if you have that problem, if there are any other problems that you encounter, and please let me know and I can add another video in the troubleshooting section of this course. Thanks for watching.
